Okay, this is a little random and since I am feeling really bored I thought i'd try something different - Thanks Nicolas Anelka for giving me this idea...

    Okay - Your currently at West Ham Utd, playing week-in, week-out and your getting some great exposure and probably one of the best 3 players in the side at only 20, although you've been at the club since you where 8. January aproaches, Clubs want you what one of these do you do;

    - Sign for Chelsea for 13.5 Mil, on a 3-year-deal on high wages, Chances are you'll only get half-a-dozen starts a seasons and be a benchwarmer, but you'll be able to say you played for Chelsea in the Abromovich era.

    - Sign for Manchester City for 8 MIl. on a 4-year deal on high wages, albeit less than Chelsea offer - But your going to start pretty much every game and be vital at the City of Manchester Stadium and become a true Sky Blues cult hero.

    - Fulham want you to help them stay in the Premier League - the wages are the same as what Chelsea offer and your Hammers will get a nice 7 Mil. for the transfer and your going to play as much as you can at Craven Cottage for the five years your going to be there.. Theres also a small escape claus if your relegated!

    - Stay at West Ham 'till the end of the season.. Or sign a new contract extension at the Boleyn, although your not getting a huge salary you are loved by Hammers fans and they sing your name at home grounds as often as 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles"..

"Arsenal FC will always be in my blood, As they say I'll always be a gooner"

Thats a good idea but I would sign for Manchester City, I like what there doing at the club and Sven is building for the future plus there challenging for Europe, and make take over for Liverpool. Plus being a Cult Hero isn't that bad either!

Arsenal have been successful this year and thats hard for Spurs fans to take

I also prefer to be on Man. City side too because they had been many extraordinary changes to the club since Sven took over the manager job.

Yep, Chelsea all the way. Look at Wright-Phillips. You might not get much play time in the first three years, but you will get to train with some of the best players and eventually you will become part of the team if you are good enough.

Then the heaven that is Man Utd will buy you and you will become the next Cantona or Rooney!!!

    Cue the Nani jokes...

    Here's another one then...

Your approaching 32 this year and you've played over 40 games for your conutry and been at West Ham, Atletico Madrid plus Celtic and played at least 100 games for them all. You're now at Aston Villa playing the good football but by no means great; Your contract is running out.

    You've got these options...

    - Stay at Aston Villa for another 2 years and finish your career off; You are getting okay wages but by no ways great, You could finally get that 50th cap for your country and maybe play in Europe.

    - Sign back at West Ham and finish your career there (A two-four year deal) on reasonable wages, Hammers really want you and your probably going to start 10 games a season and come on as a sub the rest of the time.

    - Aussie side Sydney FC want you to be the new Marquee player for the season on some good money and you live in one of the best cities in the world, You will make about 1-1.5 Mil. a season in Australia until your maybe 36 even.

    - A move to the United Arab Emirates are offering huge money and you could very well play for another 5 seasons easily there - After all that's what UAE Football is all about!

Sydney FC. A great way to end a career by helping another club like Beckham does.

I have one for you. You are 28 just had the best season of your life with Chelsea, however since Abramovich has sold the club, it has been in financial trouble. You earn 150k per week and the boards tells you that you need to go. Furthermore you know that you will never play football again like you did the previous season. Here are your options:

    - Real Madrid offers Chelsea record-breaking deal to bring you to Santiago Bernabeu and they will also give you a cool salary to match that at Chelsea. You might not be first-team, but your 4 year contract will not be renewed. New club policy.

    - The LA Galaxy offers you a 52 mil dollars per year salary for 8 years, but you will be used as a puppet and make ads more than you will play football. Chances are this will end your international career.

    - Aston Villa manage to tempt Chelsea into agreeing a part exchange deal, but they cannot manage to pay you 150k per week. They still offer you a good 90k for a 5 year contract and, given the situation, you could help them qualify for the Champions League.

    - AC Milan never recovered from the slump in which they are today and become a mediocre team in Seria A. They manage to get enough money to tempt Chelsea in selling, but they cannot even match the salary Aston Villa is offering. If you go there you know that you still have a good 8 years to your professional career, but you will spend them in mid-table medicority. If, however you manage to ressurect them, you will become a hero for them.

Yeah same as Andrei, I would prefer to play in Europe, but coming off as a Sub would piss me off, plus being a marquee player would be great. Plus it would be nice to play for thta extra four seasons

I'd say Aston Villa, no way the Galaxy option because nobody would ever want be used as a market-toy nor never play for your country again at only 28.

    Probably Villa, maybe AC Milan..

    1. Man City
    2. West Ham (call me a football romantic)
    3. Villa

    Okay, here's one...
You're a 17 year old American wonderkid playing for the New England Revolution (MLS Club, think Clint Dempsey) and it's the end of the European leagues, but the MLS is still playing. However, you've been scouted out by some of the biggest names in football and are being approached, do you...

Sign for Premier League Fulham, play alongside your American Compatriots and get bled into the team slowly over the next 4 years. Your salary is not great

Sign for Championship side Watford and help them gain promotion that year and become the unsung hero of a side that doesn't have staying power even if they did make it into the Premier League. Your salary is half of what you'd get at Fulham.

Sign for Hamburg, play in the Champions League, but only get used as a substitute. Your salary is double of what Fulham can pay.

Stay at the Revs and sign a two year extension that'll double your current salary, so that your earnings are roughly the same as if you went to Fulham.

Soccer is way of art, now that the players want to go all hollywoood (david Beckham) many have forgotten the essense of what soccer is, Europe or MLS? Definetly Europe

I 'support' the Revoloution in the MLS (Even though I do not follow it, I just like the place, name and kit!).

I'd say Fulham - Even though they could get relegated it'd be a great experience playing in the greatest league in the world.
I love Craven Cottage too... The whole "old" feel is great!

Okay - Here is a completely different one, has nuthin' to do with transfers, well litle, Here it is then..

You are 34, and you've been at the club you have supported as boy for your whole life, that team being Man City, they have qualified for the Champions League and are now playing Real Madrid in the Final at Wembley Stadium, But you could also get your 100th cap for England and break the record for most England goals at Wembley too vs. France to get into the World Cup 2010 (It's in the future you see.. Weird things happen like City in the UCL and WC Qualifiers during a season).. What do you do?

Kyle, so are we supposed to pick between one of the two? I guess i would pick the Champions League. At 34, there will be more opportunities for the player to play and score for England, but if man City gets to the UCL Final, it will not happen more than once. Lol. Huge dillema though, I must admit.

Felipe, I do no agree with you. The MLS is a league like any other.

Although it lacks in quality when compared to the Premier League, La Liga, etc. and despite the fact that it has a different format from the aforementioned 'heavyweights', it is still a football league whose primary concern is, well... football.

I agree that the whole Beckham fiasco has damaged the already weak opinion of real football (or soccer, if you insist) fans in relation to the MLS. However being a football player in the MLS is a whole new challange. I remeber a collumn on Goal.com in its early days which blasted reports that the MLS is a holiday for players. They were right, the MLS provides a different type of challange to players.

Where the Americans lose is in arrogance - Lalas said that if you secretly put MLS players in the Premier League no one will notice... that is hillarious - and in lack of support. The only team which has lots of suport is Toronto FC and they will succeed because of that, but the other stadiums are depressingly empty during some games.

Yeah Kyle, I'm a bit of a Revs fan myself too. I'd probably play in the CL final, I mean it is Man City, who knows how much longer I've got left to play, you say that I have a chance to play for my 100th cap, but the CL final is a sure thing. I don't have many years left in me, so I'd defo line up against the Galacticos (how did they get into the final in your world anyway?)

Oh, here's one, you're a 28 year old, playing for Lyon, you're having the best season of you're career. However, your wife is English and you're about to have a baby and she wants you to move to England for the sake of your future child(ren?)'s education.

Would you stay at Lyon, but have your kid living in England and spend his first few years without his dad

    -OR-

Would you move to a non-Champion's League club and take a significant pay cut just so that your kid can grow up in England. The only clubs interested in your services are Everton, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa

Stay at Lyon and demand you all live in France for the next five years until the child is old enough to go to school
