Alvaro Pereira a Lb from Cluj has signed for Porto for 4,500,000 € . When I was watching the UCL in the game against Chelsea he really impressed. He is truly talented and in the next year Barca or Real or any other club will snap him up and Porto will get a huge profit.

They have also signed Orlando Sa from Braga.

    --------------------
Benefica have snapped up Ramires a highly rated midfielder from Cruzeiro for 7,500,000 €

Whos on loan? Cissoko is a Porto player (not on loan).

Ramires will be the new Gilberto Silva.

Ramires is a boss, he was great at cruzeiro, probably the second best talent in brazil outside of hernanes.

i dont get what birmingham are at.they had a good defensive record last season, and a poor goalscoring record and now they go off and sign 3 more defenders and move for joe hart on loan.scott dann is a good player, but they need more attacking players.benitez isnt gonna get that team 15 goals the way they play,so they need some more wingers or strikers

the deal is supposed to be around 18m,but liverpool want to use the money owed by pompey for crouch to reduce the price,so it could be around 12m in the end

    Great buy for Wenger.

    BREAKING NEWS:
Earlier today, it was reported that concerns arose during Aly Cissokho's medical ahead of his move to AC Milan, regarding the player's teeth.

The left-back's move has now collapsed following the failed medical and he will not be joining the Rossoneri from Porto. There was a €15 million deal in the works, but the player will now remain a member of the Portuguese club after not signing the proposed contract.

is it the wisdom teeth?they cause a lot of problems for some players apparently.i think van persie and malouda said their game has improved after they got them removed.if it is that, didnt think it would be anything that could fail a medical

    more news on it:
Apparently during his first medical, club doctor Jean-Pierre Meersseman found some teeth problems which led to the negotiations stalling before a new examination was carried out.

However, a second medical was taken later on this afternoon and this time no problems were found, thus paving the way for the 21-year-old's move to the Rossoneri.

This was confirmed by the French player before departing for his holidays in Senegal.

"I confirm that I undertook a first medical which highlighted some problems, but soon afterwards a second more detailed check-up went well," declared the future Milan player to Maisfutebol.

"I already signed the pre-contract and now I go for my holidays in Senegal."

This means that on his return there will be a contract to sign which will tie him down to the Rossoneri, when he can therefore start his new adventure in Serie A.

    What the hell:

Aly Cissoko had looked poised for a move to the Rossoneri after AC Milan and Porto agreed a €15 million fee for the player.

However, his transfer to the Italian giants was put on hold after his first medical with Milan revealed dental problems.

Cissokho told the Portuguese press late on Wednesday that he was set to sign for Milan following a second medical exam which showed the problem with his teeth could be easily fixed.

Porto have now confirmed that AC Milan have decided to call the deal off as the player failed to meet the club's medical department's demands.

A statement issued by Porto to the Portuguese stock market read, "Porto would like to inform the market that the agreement in principle with AC Milan for the transfer of Aly Cissokho is of no effect anymore, since the athlete could not meet the demands of the medical department of AC Milan."

Tell me. Favali is better for them

Reports suggest Chelsea brought back Glen Johnson for 17.5 mil.

Also on Ramires, that boy is amazing in the confed cup. Good buy Benefica.

Cissoko's chances of playing for one the worlds most prestigious clubs are ruined because of teeth problems? Bit of a poor excuse to pull out of a transfer

Carvalho and Deco haven't yet signed for Inter, and Ibra won't nove either.

But it's possibly that Cissokho and Milan will agree on a lower price due to his spinal problems.

I thought it was Cissokho's absessed teeth, Liver. If it's his back, then it's obviouly very serious.

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

eto'o to city if the latest reports of a 'monster' offer (laporta) are to be believed. i think this transfer could really spur the rest of the market into activity. i've gotten a few posts published on the site recently but haven't had time to write regularly in a while so here's a post back at my own blog about the transfer rumors/how the activity can all be started with the eto'o move.

any comments/visits would be greatly appreciated!

    French GK Galore:
    Pele signs for Toulouse
Coupet signs for PSG, while PSG GK Mickaël Landreau signs for Lille.

Is it just me or is PSG crazy?

PSG is a nut-house. Reminds me of Spurs, or vice versa. I still wouldn't be surprised if Eto'o's people snub Shitty with a view toward running out his contract and pocketing a big transfer-size bumper bonus for next Summer.
