Forlan? No chance. Aguero? Possibly. Fergie has been firmly linked or made enquiries within the past 2 years for David Silva, Franck Ribery, Karim Benzema and Douglas Costa, so i would expect 3, if not all of those players to possibly arrive at Utd this summer. Costa could be the surprise player that comes in as a repalcement for Ronaldo.

When Fergie decided to accept the £80mil for Ronaldo he also knew that in January Adem Ljajic is arriving and he is arguably one of the most promising young attacking midfielders in European Football. That would have undoubtedly played a part in that decision.

Wes: if 2 of the 4 players you mentioned came, i will be overly glad, 3 or all will be a bonus especially with the prices clubs are paying.

i would prefer Ribery, David Silva, followed by Benzema and D Costa - in that order, but which ever comes i'm fine

why would we sign aguero to play on the wing even after he FAILED on the flanks with atletico already.he is a striker, you cant go messing around with him.hes not worth 40m anyway,i have no desire to see that cheating bastard at united

I think Fergie will sign Benzema, Ribery and Douglas Costa. That is just something i have a feeling about and i think a deal has already been discussed with Bayern, Lyon and Gremio. I wouldn't be surprised if fees have already been agreed. Are a big club like Utd really stupid enough to accept 80mil without replacements already lined up? Prices are clearly now going to rise quite dramatically with clubs knowing they have that wedge waiting to be spent.

id love to see ribery sign.he is a brilliant winger, couple that with another striker or rooney playing in his favoured position and you have a lot of goals.because real are hesitant to pay valencias asking price for villa,it could be worth making a bid for him.real are his only option in spain at the moment, and valencia need him or silva to go for a high price so there would be no harm in at least trying for him

well Benzema will sure chip in a fair share of goals. he could be a Torres of France.

yep, in Fergie we trust, Wes, he wouldnt be stupid to let Ron leave without any plans for the club.

Nope. I not related with luckyspurs . only luckyspers has imformation that Forlan and Aguero coming to Manchester United . As a MU fans i sure hope that thoes 2 can play for MU . Berba certainly hard to elevate into fergie formation and the leaving of tevez there is certainly needed a good striker like Forlan . With the leave of Ronaldo too Aguero is the best to fit the place of Ronaldo other then ribery . Surely Benzema and Ribery is the best fit of Tevez and Ronaldo.

I think he would go for Benz & Ribery only, for Douglas Costa, who is he actually?

mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

Douglas Costa is an 18 year old, left footed winger/attacking mid/forward who is rated one of the best prospect's in Brazilian and world football. He looks a fantastic player with awesome pace and excellent dribbling skills, just the type of player Utd love and a good prospect to replace Ronaldo.

Have a look at him on this Youtube clip...

i think costa should stay in brazil for another year, maybe even 2.so often has a brazilian been labelled as a future superstar only to collapse under the pressure and become nothing.he needs to stay and develop in brazil for a bit, much like keirrison is doing now

I wont mind a 70-year old if he can score goals. Forlan is still loved by Manchester United fans for his crucial goals. He wasnt a big flop, a minor one. I would be interested to see a more experienced and better Diego Forlan back at OT.

I'd still prefer to get just Aguero and spend some money on Lavezzi or Ribery. Dont think we'll land Ribery tho
