There's no way Carrick and Hargreaves have become superstars. Carrick is consistent but not like the Gerrard's, Fabregas' and Lampard's.
I personally don't know wh United bought Hargreaves, just because he scores one free kick to win against Arsenal last season doesn't mean he is a superstar.

But yeah Arsene is quite the mastermind when it comes to making and finding great talent.
Especially when you look at someone in the current side like RvP who signed for only 2.75m from Feyenoord. Amazing.

Lets be serious now, Carrick Hargreaves and Tevez? I aint saying they're not good, but thy're not superstars, Tevez cant even get a starting roll at united. Carrick doesn't even hold down a regular international spot lets be serious.

no.not superstars.tevez maybe,but not hargo and carrick.as good as they are,they will never be at that level

I reckon he was a world class player when Fergie signed him, but he's in a bit of a dip right now, not that i'm complaining i hate the c*nt, he's a star in his national team he was always looking dangerous for spurs an he had a Van Nistelrooy-like nose for goal

i have some great memories of that campaign,i was at hampden when big gary caldwell slid in to score the winner in that 1-0 hammering of france and i think everyone can remember mcfaddens winner in france but that wasn't enough as we became glorious failures once again,the problem with my national team is not luck its the fact that they cant get the results against the smaller teams,all we had left to do in that last campaign was get 3 points from the last 2 games,which seemed easy enough as we had georgia away n italy at hampden but what happened,we went to georgia and came back with nothing,leaving it all to do against the world champions in the final game.hopefully the route to sa 2010 will be less cruel and more rewarding.fingers crossed
