the funnest thing in the history of game have happened
in the 08/09 season man city have spent 110m on top of what they have already spent before the game have begun, find themselves bottom of the table with 21 points after 26 games. they are on course for the drop, but unbelieveablely sparky is still in the job...
and my team (mk dons) have scored direct from corner! (off and crossbar and in!)

they ALWAYS go for srna and zhirkov.although when i play, they usually go for marek hamsik too.arshavin and anyukov are targets for them too
but damn, this game is tough.a lot more realistic than previous years, especially the tactical side

but damn, this game is tough.a lot more realistic than previous years, especially the tactical sidei didnt like fm2008 the rating on that were awful. elano and david silva were the best players in game (which is bullshit)
fm2007 were the way to go (i had a great 25 year career on that game, until i lost my save due to hard drive failure), up until this one.

im having serious trouble with valencia,i just cant get the players to adapt to my tactics.which is annoying because in fm08 i used the same tactics im using now and i was really successful
-
Posted 1 year ago #
that mainly because you lack respect from the players, since you start with a nobody
-
Posted 1 year ago #
ya,makes sense i suppose.is that why you started with mk dons or do you actually support them?
-
Posted 1 year ago #
i am living in mk, you have support your local team (even though i am a utd fan)
-
Posted 1 year ago #
i like to work my way up to become the man utd manager (if they want me that is)
-

i tried something like that with last years game, except i was celtic.some guys kicked me out after a takeover and i got the atletico job,but they gave me no money for transfers and most of the big names were almost gone.i was left with aguero, forlan and maxi as the only top class players.pure joke
the dons arent the worst club to start off with in league one though, good squad there

im fully in love with this game.its even more addictive than the last one.its just soooooooo good
haha city,16th by january.spent 100 million in january(i turned off transfer budgets at the start)...not doing them much good so far,its great!

You can set yourself as a 'former international' and then they will respect you. All you have to do is exit the 'add manager' wizard and do it manually
Cue the Nani jokes... -

yeah,i was going to do that but i said fuck it,lets make it challenging.its all going fine now though.4th place,2 points behind sevilla, doing well in the uefa cup too,and we're playing some exciting football
