I like this Kazkhstan coach (interim coach, rather) - here's what he had to say about shirt swapping and the popularity (or lack thereof) of football in Kazakhstan:

"If they look to change shirts straight away I will be upset. I'd rather buy them a shirt myself. This is not an important thing, they can swap in the tunnel.

The players that go to Rooney or Beckham straight after the final whistle would never play again."

    and...

"Even if we pulled off big result not many people in Kazakhstan would know about it.

We have only two or three newspapers in the week, people don't hear about football, the game against Croatia wasn't even shown on TV.

I hope people there will wake up after the match and it will bring more people into the stadiums."

Ironic, ainnit? England will be proud to beat a country that doesn't give a damn about it's football. If it's another Andorra (defend, defend, defend) it's bound to get interesting with the crowd.

nope pls not another Andorra. if England was once boring to watch, then surely these teams contribute to that. And what? for 85th mins both teams were deadlocked final score 1-0 if lucky. then the coach will say it is considered a "win" for us and a "lost" for them, as we held them for long periods.

but with this new England team, dont think that is gonna happen. but i will stay clear first. i have Germany and Russia to watch 8)
