Jenas has a lot of alcohol/female/racial side-issues affecting his game. Injuries aside, that whole N.U. midfield batch--Jenas, Bowyer and Dyer--all seem to have a permanent case of the' emotional Peter-Pans'!

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

how about Woodgate? i think Woody offers more experience than Jagielka. though his injuries are a huge concern for the coach as well.

    Frank Lampard
    Joe Cole
    Gareth Barry
    Ashley Young
    James Milner
    Jermaine Jenas
    Lee Cattermole
    Tom Huddlestone

    FW: Wayne Rooney

No Gerrard, because he only plays well in a Liverpool shirt and no Ashley Cole because he really isn't a good defender - too many mistakes come from that side, both for Chelsea and for England

Where's Becks? He's in good form right now..

mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

Last season ahsley was outstanding and to not select him now would be absolutely crazy.
and not selecting gerrard would be like the portugese team not selecting ronaldo, the brazillian team not selecting kaka, the french team not selecting ribery.Gerrard and rooney are the two jewels in englands crown and capello recently said that his whole system was based on allowing those two 2 run riot, something i should remind has payed handsome dividents for england lately

maybe because long time ago I logged in WordPress & changed my username..
maybe that's the reason why even Bobo changed into Ivor Irwin

Somebody messed with my name, too. Cashley Cole may be a batty man who makes a lot of mistakes, but he's twenty times better than Wayne Bridge or Luke Young. Stevie Gerrard's main job at Liverpool is to score goals. I'm not sure what it is exactly for England. I don't think he knows, either. Maybe one of you can enlighten me! Richards and Young are a joke. Picking players like Richards, Tubby Huddlestone, Lennon and Bentley for their 'potential' is getting a little old, don't you think? I'd take one grafter like Cattermole or Barry any time over them because they really care about winning. Becks will be picked, no matter what, because he's sort of become like the Queen.

pick a grafter like Darren Bent? sure, he has done well in the league with Charlton(highest scoring Englishmen), but he hasnt scored much with Spuds and England.

Darren Bent is a 'grafter'? You're saying he's a hard worker? Not really.

Bent got games till the 2nd half of last season when Roman, Keane and Defoe came in. He did put in some effort in scoring goals for Charlton.

Talking 'bout Charlton, Scotty Parker was hardworking. created alot for Bent, telling passes, brings the ball out from defence. Why isnt he getting a call?

Parker and Reo-Coker are both enigmatic. I've seen Reo-Coker look world-class against United, Arsenal and Liverpool, but his body language in many regular games tells you all you need to know. Parker and Micah Richards just don't seem to see beyond playing football being a job. Sooner or later, coaches run out of patience when you don't give a shit.

Bullard should be playing the Nationalmannschaft if possible, since England is neglecting him. He does like football more than just a career.
