Eduardo played for 45 minutes for Arsenal reserves [link]. I wonder if defenders will be afraid of tackling him now, and what will happen to the next defender who tackles him at the Emirates - with Gooners mob the pitch?

Thank god, we really need another forward. Emmanuel and Robin are really not too hot this season.
Rosisky should be back in the New year too.

Mind you, it would be better for Arsenal if Bendtner did go... he's atrocious!

    Cue the Nani jokes...

Wenger said it's more about the Psychological recovery than the Physical one, and I completely agree.

And, HAHA, I was the fastest to react...I picked up Eduardo in Times a week ago...

had to revive this thread due to his outstanding performance in his first senior game back in almost a year,he looked amazing, scoring 2,linking up well with vela and bendtner,he even tried to lob the keeper from 30 yards out, cheeky, very cheeky but all in all great to see him back and will surely bring some much needed firepower to our front line.

good revival, that is a sign that he has not lost much touch (or hopefully none at all) after being out of the game for almost a year(?)

it was as if he was never absent, mind u the cardiff city defense made him look a lot sharper than he probably is due to their sloppy defending, theres no way he could have scored his first goal if it was a prem or cl game but he took both well and looked happy to be back,it will be interesting to see who wenger starts at the weekend as adebayor is injured.

i saw a short highlight yesterday week on Eduardo playing for Croatia, he was alright, i think he got his fitness and sharpness from there.

i think van Persie will start with Bendtner, Eduardo will come early in the 2nd half. looks like Arshavin is not much needed.

superb last nite duff, the ball seemed to just stick to his feet plus he linked up brilliantly with the front 2,eduardo and bendtner, deserves a chance at least.

I have to agree Eduardo played well last night took his goals well.
In fairness he did miss two early opportunity but how can you blame him
I think his recover has come at the right time, he might get an extended run with Adebayor being injured

im glad to see him back.. he's exactly what we need right now... Arsenal get he ball into the box but there is never anyone there to but the finishing touch.. eduardo is a clinical finisher and a goal poacher!! so now that RVP can spread out wide and get the ball to him we might not draw 0-0 anymore...

for bendtner... he should be playing for the arsenal girls... he might have scored but he is terrible

    Almunia
    Sagna Toure Gallas Clichy
    Eboue Song Billong Denilson Nasri
    Van Persie Bendtner

i've got a hunch Bendtner will start.
