For me,he don't deservely to be France manager.Why?
At EURO 2008,he has made many mistakes like:
1. Wrong tactics...
2. Put young and good players on the bench and bring on the old players...
3. Left good or should I say 'MASTERPIECE' players like Bacary Sagna and Mexes from the team...
4. What are other reasons that I didn't mention,please post it soonish...

Since he's been kept on, he needs to rebuild and sort out the interpersonal problems in the squad. If he can get them to play as a team then nothing else will matter.
he's still deserve to be france manager again.i'm sure he could do better than 2006 world cup after this.france were unlucky in their final match against italy last euro too.with a potential players like nasri, gomis, benzema and a new faces to come, i'm confident domenech could do much better and learn from the mistakes.
Domenech is so BULLSHIT...why he put some old players at the back during their match either against Romania,Holland or Italy in that group,he knows that opposition offense are more young and fresh,why doesn't he put young players at the back???LOL!!!
Domenech is bullshit..here's way
1)Wrong Tactics:- For example, lets take makelele. We all know he's still good. Hell...you gotta be good to have a whole position named after you and he still has some of it left. But, one point that everything has overlooked is, WHO THE HELL PLAYS MAKELELE IN A 2 MAN MIDFIELD. Now makelele is one of the best hard tackling midfielders and ball winners in the game. But he's NOT A PLAYMAKER, AND HE'S NOT A SHOOTER! He took a penalty in the last match of jose murinho's first season in charge of chelsea and missed that, though he scored on the rebound. Apart from that, when has he scored? I can't remember any occasion. You ALWAYS PLAY MAKELELE IN A 3 MAN MIDFIELD! What he does for chelsea which makes him so valuable is that he wins the ball and gives it a short pass to someone. When you play him in a 2 man midfield, esp. when the system is a 4-4-2 and not a 4-4-1-1 which can still work for him..You force him to come up..pass...attack and shoot. In a 4-4-2 the one midfielder defending fully one fully attacking doesn't work. Senna has a reasonably good distribution and strike, and Torsten Frings is a fantastic passer. Both the midfielders in a two man midfield have to share duties and makelele is a specailist. The dork should have played flamini, who he didnt select in the first place. As a result, it was upto ribery to provide most of the passes and its pretty difficult to maraud down the flanks, pull the strings in midfield, and support the striker at the same time. This is just one of Domenech's bad tactics..they must be plenty others.
2) Wrong selection:-To name just one..playing abidal instead of evra in the first game.Abidal has had an awful latter part of the season while Evra has had a totally fantastic one. And then he slotted abidal in defence. Why not play someone like Mexes their? Oh i forgot..the dork didn't choose Mexes in the first place.
3) Lack of inspiration:- The team seemed deflated..lacking inspiration. Ribery and benzema were the only bright sparks. Domenech also didnt use the magnificent Samir Nasri enough for me
Then the most obvious reason..NOT SELECTING A STRIKER WHO NETS GOALS FOR FUN..WHO HAD A GREAT SEASON AND WHO IS NO DOUBT A WORLD CLASS PLAYER. Anelka might be good but who out here think he's better than Trezeguet.
The french had a wonderful team..but a poor coach. Everyone knows it was a combination of Zizou magic, luck and flashes of inspiration from other players, mostly ribery, that helped france finish runners up in the WC. Did they play the flowing football that spain or holland played? France mostly relied on Zidane to win them matches individually, and he stepped up. Now they didnt have him. And this time the team was not so lucky.
France have a wonderful crop of youngsters and veterans. WIth a great coach..they can go far in the World Cup
Proposing to your Girlfriend just after you've been Knocked out of the European Championships is not acceptable either 
So so badly,when your team exit shamefully from EURO 2008,you still can proposing to your girlfriend...I agree with norgie...
