OMG......Just goes to show, death can come anywhere, anytime, to anyone......
Saw him sometimes in the La Liga and remember him from Espanyol's run to the UEFA Cup final in 2007. RIP !

It's funny, I realised that to any foreigner looking at a thread like this, RIP repeated over and over again would sound kind of funny.

Truly shocking and tragic. What makes it worse is that it is the 3 or 4 major incident involving professional footballers in the last few years. After Antonio Puerta died there was talk of how footballers' hearts should be monitored, should be looked at again.
