Yeah, just like the United fans would chant 'Ruuuuud'. RVN thought everyone hated him when he scored his first few goals, hilarious. Little did he know we bloody loved him and we're STILL missing a striker who can score that many goals, not a winger before anyone brings the Portuguese up...

I just emailed my main man journo, Menachem, in Durban and he says it's true. Indeed, Santana and two previous coaches had a lot of political pressure brought on them NOT to play Booth from certain racists in the ANC, but so many fans demonstrated, created petitions and campaigned on the Net for him to be picked again for the national team that Santana relented. I guess there are a couple of Zulu crowd songs the fans sing for him at matches.

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

Guys any chance the USA will beat Brazil a few hours from now? Would that be the greatest upset ever in international football history? Or would the semifinal victory over Spain remain the all-time biggest upset?

Ibra's Abracadabra will help Barca win their second Treble, and Eto'o will revitalize Inter Milan!!

In the end this is still not the World Cup, but the intangible shot in the arm that it gives the MLS after the Beckham circus and the corporate soap opera involving Jurgen Klinsmann is huge. It's still the greatest victory in Yank footie history. I want to see Tim Howard embarrass the Gaffer. Today he will have to play the greatest game of his career!!!

I think there's every chance they can do it, but it's even harder to better your greatest victory in the history of your nation's football in the next game. Plus their not so much a surprise package anymore, but it'd be great for football if they pulled it off.

Guys do you think a fit Iniesta would have made all the difference in the tournament? Xavi obviously can't do it all by himself

the more I think about it the more I think that Iniesta should be runner-up in the Ballon D'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year Awards. Who should be no.3? Will it be a clean sweep on the podium for Barca?

Guys you know what? Despite the US's success in the tournament I kinda don't want soccer/football to go mainstream and popular here in America...I kinda like the fact it's "undergound" and only liked by a select few. I'm concerned that America will ruin the game if it does become popular here

Guys who was it that supplied the pass for Eto'o to score the first goal in the Champions League final...was it Iniesta? Didn't he also play a part in the second goal: his pass went to Xavi who crossed it for Messi to head home

sorry but I really don't remember

who's better overall iniesta or xavi?
