With a major boosting win over Chelsea & Portsmouth in their last two games, do you think Liverpool have what it takes to stick it out til' January or so? Even though its only October tongues are wagging already about finally bringing the title back to Anfield

Definitely Liverpool will make a major challenge to Manchester United, same as Chelsea last season, until the last match of the season to see who win the Premier League...
mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

i hope rafa boost out attack power cause keane cant do it alone... we need another striker and a speedy winger, we cant rely on torres alone to do all the scoring with premier league and champions league matches, it will be tiring for him.
Andd yes we can!!

tongues are always wagging about the title coming back to Anfield. It's rare to see them wagging so hard at the end of October, but not unusual. Let's talk after Christmas folks.

its just unlucky tht we lost to tottenham, we deserved a win but well ..... we hit wordworks a couple of times and really we should have won, i think masherano should be sub, he was crap yesterday and put in lucas who can attack and defend at the same time.

I'm a huge liverpool fan to, but deserving it is not enough. We can't keep on winning by one goal cause of penalties or lucky goals. I agree with Torres that we need another striker and I think we need a new RB to. Arbeloa and Degen suck. Let's just hope the dumb as board gives Rafa enough funds to get good stuff in the Winter Transfer Window.

EUFA Cup! Ha! Ha! Xerxes made a funny! Can someone please jog my memory about the multiplicity of trophies won by Chelsea and Arsenal in Europe. Very fucking funny, Xerxes. I know some really good comedy clubs in Salford and Bootle where you'd go down great.

Rhian, b'ra, tonight of all nights, with Barack Obama on his way, you are free to larf all you want. You and Raed can use all your 'consecutive winning streak' whore bitch rhetoric all you want, but you ain't won diddly squat shit in Europe yet.

raed, don't forget who beat you at the end of the streak. Ditto for Chelsea, because if I recall correctly they were going unbeaten for some time before losing to United.
By the way, I don't think it's fair to talk about Liverpool's 5 titles or 18 league titles when 4 of 5 titles came 2 decades ago, ditto for 18 league titles. Having said that, in the same vein it's a bit childish to throw United's 1 CL title or titles won more than 10 years ago.
Judging a club by it's success in the last 10 years is a fair barometer, no?

Er Bobo I think you have forgotten that Chelsea have won in Europe - the Cup Winners Cup at that, AND the European Super Cup (beating Real Madrid I might add)
You've had a head start but we'll catch up,

bobo, you're on fire!!
Manchester United won 13 straight Champions League home games between playing Villareal in 2005 and playing them this season. That is a record. If I am not mistaken, Chelsea is currently at 7 straight home CL wins, but watch out: Cluj is coming to town!!
Cue the Nani jokes... -

Liverpool can challenge for the title, but it will be a dog fight again. Too close to call in November. Not sure if Arsenal will manage to make it that far the way they are playing now, but United will be there!
Yes we can!
(good one Torres).

Raed - balding is supposed to be an insult now? is that how low the mighty Arsenal have fallen?
Excuses are good to make yourself feel better but they don't change the facts...

Yeah, yeah, Raed! Maybe Rooney needs to borrow some of Bacary Sagna's lovely collection of attachments. And.. And... And... Cesc plays in his sister's pink silk knickers. Can we go back to talking about football, please?
