Frazier Campbell's value goes up every time he scores. Nice one against the Czechs tonight! Sir Alex can look forward to a very nice headache in the Summer.

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

all seven?? We have Manucho (who is not about to start a game for the team), Wellbeck (who is only 17), Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov and Campbell (who is on loan).

By the way, he is 22, I think and a promising talent it seems. His speed will piss off many Premier League and Champions League teams.

    Cue the Nani jokes...

I guess so Rhian as all of Chelsea's young lads are never even played in the Carling Cup. Dont forget to close your mouth admiring Campbell and the rest. HeHe......

Rhian, nobody was rating these players, we were just saying that they might end up being good players in the future and if you have ever watched Campbell or Brandy play, you'd know that they are about as fast as SWP.

By the way, I still don't think that Ferguson will ever pick Campbell ahead of Wellbeck.

i can see frazier moving on soon.he's defintely a talented player but i dont see him getting many opportunities at united, and he will realise the best thing for him will be to move elsewhere permanently

DANNY WELBECK vs. FRAIZER CAMPBELL...Do we need a thread for this?

mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

A thread for what? Welbeck is ruthless, very speedy and a Home Bwoy. Campbell has all the tools but tends to have long, lean dithery streaks. Sort of like Bent with less bling!

Problem is rooney & tevez are also young these other stikers don't really have a chance of pushing on to become 1st team players/subs because of this.

Some of us go to reserve matches when we're home, Rhian. Some of us keep up an information grapevine with people we've known for 30-odd years. Word is: Danny Wellbeck is the dog's bollocks and he's a local lad from Longsight. I remember when he was a star for Manchester Boys and that he almost joined Shitty. Is he better than Frazier Campbell? I think so, but... shit happens!

Yeah, I was watching MUTV last night and the showed a footage from two years back of the Maestro Boyz including Danny Welbeck and current ManUtd reserve Cameron Stewart part of a three men team that won a sort of indoor footie contest....can you believe it ??? Two years later, one of them was scoring at Old Trafford.......

its strange rhian hasnt tried to say that some of chelseas youth players are better than ours......oh wait, they have fuck all in that department.aside from sergio tejera and michael woods, its bare.he cant really start criticising our youth players with that kind of a record

no i don't need to boast about mancienne and sinclair.

however...Campbell has been playing FIRST TEAM FOOTBALL for Hull....reserve games and youth games are not on the level of the Championship...and now he's a potential First teamer in the Prem....Wellbeck plays reserve games and youth games...he doesn't and has not been competing on Campbell's level....

    he could never be better...

That is pessimistic. I don't think any of us said that Wellbeck is better than Campbell. However, given the current situation at United, put yourself in Ferguson's shoes:

-> You have three very good strikers filling two positions
-> You also have two other promising strikers; one is 22, the other is 17
-> You are in a situation where you can give one of these 30 minutes of football when winning 10-1
-> Who do you put in?

    a) Campbell who is quality but likely to find another home if he is not given first-team opportunities - as a result, you would develop him for somebody else or

    b) Wellbeck who is young and not a bad player and has a chance to make his mark at Old Trafford.

    duffman, that was uncalled for.

i think when opportunities are presented to you, you have to take it.

welback has done that against stoke and campbell hasnt against (someone i cant remember).

so i think that has gave welback a slight edge to get into the utd team

It was Newcastle... and he did so-so, but nothing spectacular given that he could have won the game for United.

Pique and Rossi both really wanted to play first-team football. Why the Gaffer sold them so cheap is a mystery, though.
