Michael Owen has to be the biggest 'name' sicknote in English Football. I read somewhere recently that because he cost £16mil, every goal he has scored for them has basically cost Newcastle Utd £700,000. That is a hell of a lot money per goal!
Now he is likely to leave on a free. Nice payback there.....

Yes i suppose Dyer is right up there, probably top of the list. I actually saw his most 'recent' bad injury up close as it was against Bristol Rovers. Shocking injury and people i spoke to after who were at that side of the ground said that you could hear his bone snap. His luck with injuries is truely shocking.
