The rumours guy who looks like a pimp on Republica Deportivo, which is a Spanish-language sports variety show over here, says that the Ferguson has had it with Berbatov and his 'lifestyle preferences.' Hmm! It also seems that Moratti has been on the phone with Gilly and the Gaffer and he wants either or both Berbatov and Tevez and is dangling Ibrahimovic as bait. Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'd take Ibrahimovic for Berbatov in a heartbeat, although he's a prima-donna, too. Now more than ever: We must keep Tevez!

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

cant see ibra being a hit in the prem plus he's almost a clone of berba on and off the field,so its kinda pointless.

Not a fan of berbatov. He's tooo cavalier. Doesn't fit in well up front for man u. Now Tevez is another matter. How would you like to mark him for 90 + minutes. He takes alot out of the defenders and creates opportunities for others to shine especially toward the end of games.

Berbatov is a fine footballer. He's just a selfish, languid, laconic-type guy who isn't into being a team player. If some of you guys don't watch the matches and aren't familiar with the players... Why are you on this blog?

i had a discussion with some of the lads about who we would swap berbatov for.basically any half decent striker that could score 10 goals a season came up,and we all agreed.thats how low we rate him.wonder could we get pato for him?

doesnt anyone think that ibra would have the same problems at man u that berbatov is having,he wouldnt be suited to the prem ,especially man u and ur saying he doesnt show up for the big games, wot use is that to the biggest club in the world.man u should sell berba and go for villa,if not go for eto.

I don't think you can compare Beraba and Ibra, I really think Ibrahimovic is nowhere near Berbatov, but after a couple of bad performances lately I think Berba's being too harshly judged by United fans, he's not THAT bad! Don't forget Ibra plays in a crappy league and Berabtov plays in the best league. Berba already knows this league as well, could we really wait for Zlatan to adjust if he was traded for Berba? He would be a total flop! look at the big games he's played in and every time he's disappointed against good opposition and the Premier league is crammed full of good opposition.
To be honest guys, I'd rather have Tevez over either of them and wish SAF would let him start more games but we needed Berba as another option and for extra depth up front.

Italy is the most defensive league going & Ibra manages to score there. Tbh I'd rather play Welbeck than Berbatov...

Neither of these players is right for Manchester United! United's work-rate last year, with Rooney and Tevez doing Ronaldo's donkey work work, made them a machine. Berbatov has slowed everything down and forced Ronnie to perform as a more traditional winger, which hurts because his crossing is mediocre. I never wanted Berbatov before he was bought. Ahmed Shah and I were sniping about it for months before Ferguson pulled the trigger. He's not a bad footballer, he's just not right for United. If he had started scoring at least a few goals, I'd be more open-miinded, but it's just not happening. And... Please note that Ferguson only starts complaining 'privately' to reporters about player 'lifestyles' when he's had it with them. Aside from Rio's sex parties, Ferguson hasn't complained about player 'lifestyles' since he suddenly lost faith in "the best goalkeeper in the world," Fabí Barthez.

the barca board wouldnt mind eto'o leaving this summer.I WANT ETO'O.forget the fact that he can be troublesome off the pitch.you treat this guy anyway well and he will be absolutely lethal.he scores bucketloads of goals, will chase the defenders down and chips in with assists.he is in his peak now so we could get a few years out of him.i would absolutely love to see him as our no.9

a player can have more ability than any other player in the world, but it means jack shit if he cant show it consistently on the pitch.maybe its our style of play, maybe he cant handle the pressure of playing for united,or maybe he just isnt good enough.but whatever the reason is for his poor season,he is proving to be what plenty of people expected,a waste of space

Berbatov is a class player who obviously has a hidden talent in him. However, there's been reports that he's been under performing since his move from Spurs. Give him some time, perhaps he has yet to prove his goal scoring ablities. I doubt Manchester United will make a move for Zlatan. Not enough funding available. But then again, Manchester United need a permanent clinical striker still ..
