Who is better? Personally I was very impressed by Berba's performance in todays game, so I thought of this.

Van Nistelrooy,no doubt but give more time to Berbatov,he will be more efficient and be one of the key players for the team...

mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

I don't think it is even a question. van Nisterlooy is fighting it with Inzaghi for the best poacher of all time.

    Cue the Nani jokes...

RVN easily, unless bebra can score 2 goals a game. in terms of skill it is berba, but he doesnt have the same preadaotr instinct

for pure goalscoring, you would do well to find anybody better in the past 10 years.only ronaldo has been better over that period.berbatov is technically better though

The Ruud Bwoy is nonpareil. Like Didi Drogba, he owns the Obrafo mentality of a cold-blooded assassin.

ruud rivaled henry at a time when henry was at his peak. berbatov needs to raise his game 5-fold to stand a chance at touching those 2.

Well Rhian, going back to our argument, I have to point out that you have mentioned nothing of Gert Mueller, or do you not know who he is? Actually nobody has. Does anybody know who he is [rhetoric question]?And no, he did not slip your mind because nobody's name slips your mind for days on end.

    RvN RULES!!

Yup, Gerd Muller, one of the best strikers ever and, for me, the second best German footballer ever (after Beckenbauer).

Müller was a monster and nobody mentions Romario or Armando Diego. I would put Paul Breitner up there with Müller and Beckenbauer, too. It's all well and good discounting the Brazilian Ronaldo because he's been injured for about 80% of his career, but, in his short pomp, for those who watched him casually destroy Manchester United and win the World Cup, this is a player who can, literally, pull goals out of his arse.

No, we were beaten on aggregate. One goal by Figo and two by Raul in the first leg meant that RvN's single strike was useless and United lost 7-6 on aggregate. They would have needed to score two more to go through...
