Maybe. Some players are just not big club players (The big 4). No disrespect to tottenham.

doesnt have the temperament to do it on the big stage.plenty of players like it.its a real shame because he looked excellent at spurs

I never liked him despite him being the Ireland captain. Comes across as a whiny little scumbag that very rarely does in the big games but is first to claim the credit if the game is won

he wont even play for us.hopefully he will come back, although trappatoni might not pick him because of his tactics.but as far as the players we have playing at the moment, dunne and given are keeping us going.they are playing way better than everybody else

he hasnt done it on the international stage yet.great for celtic, but a shadow of his club self for ireland.kevin doyle is actually playing very well for us.but we still have paul mcshane(until finnan is fit),glenn whelan and darron gibson playing....and being honest, they are not going to get us anywhere

McGeady seems to be a little to keen to impress on the international stage. He doesn't seem to take as many risks for Ireland as he does for Celtic and this effects his playing style. We are also in desperate need of Stephen Ireland to get Whelan or Gibson out of the starting 11. I think him and Steven Reid would work well together

Wow. I'm not Irish, and I can't understand you guys. Al these O's, and Patricks, and McSomebodys get on my nerves.

I know the players; their names just don't make much sense.
