1-Now when I tell u that Chelsea were cheated out do u believe me? Chelsea would of surely won the title with Hiddink.
2-Where was the PFA player of the year???
3-Ronaldo,Rooney,Berba,Tevez couldnt get passed a Barca with a half ass defence with Sylvinho in defence.
4-Vidic and Ferdinand the best defenders of England? We saw how Terry and Alex and even Bosingwa as LB dealt with Barca. Eto turned Vidic inside out, It was like what Torres did to him in the Liverpool game.
5- Where was the precious Anderson who " puts Fabregas and Gerrard and Xavi in his pocket"? Now do people see What Mikel does for Chelsea?
6-Did anyone see the Scholes tackle on Busquets?
7-Should Valdes start ahead of Reina and surely Cassillas with the way he is playing for Spain?
8-Surely Pique should start for Spain now.
9-Messi will surely win player of the year.
10-Rooney again is underrated, he was Man U best player.
11- Seriouslsy what did the sub of Berba coming in for Park do? 30 mil flop versus an energetic player who helped the team more then any other player except Rooney.
12-Tevez on the bench is what I didnt get. He should seriously consider his options.
13- Is barca the best team in the world?

"We win as a team, lose as a team and celebrate as a team."

Maybe now people will stop putting it off and finally give Messi the crown he deserves by naming him the best player on the planet

And lastly i just have to point this out with all the premier league hooraa that's been goin on. 3 English semifinalists and a Spanish winner   you cant make this sh*t up.

Well done to Pep and his Barce team truly the best team on the planet and they do it all while playing an attractive brand of football

Who says Messi cant score header? Never mind, Manchester United 4 - 1 Arsenal (Agg), I'm happy with that for this seasons CL exploits...

I think it was clear that the game was really lost for United in midfield. Iniesta was man of the match by a mile and controlled, schemed and generally ran the midfield, linking superbly with Xavi, Busquets and Messi. Iniesta shone tonight and was head and shoulders above anyone else, a constant danger to a worried looking United backline.

There was a lot of talk before the game about Barca's make shift back four but i actually thought they defended superbly and stopped United really posing a sustained threat on Valdes' goal. Toure dropped back into CB and looked like he had played there all his life (no wonder Kolo T. had said Yaya is a much better player than him). Puyol looked like a CB playing at RB (even though he started his career at RB) but on the whole defended well doing what was asked of him and actually managed to roam forward at every opportunity.

United will need to regroup and kick on again next season because this defeat will hurt as they were totally out classed by a superb Barca team. Fergie will need to look at himself and ask if he made the right signing's (eg. £30oddMil Berbatov) this year and then make sure that he get's the right players this summer to come back and win it again next year.

Barca showed tonight in the passing, movement and guile that they are on a different technical level to Utd and they have raised the bar in Europe to a new level.

Fergie could do with a few fresh options in the summer with someone like David Silva top of his list of priorities....

United definitely missed a controlloing influence in the Iniesta/Xavi mould but they also lacked that aggression that comes from a ball winner in midfield, as luckyspurs said, none of the United midfield are noted for their tacking ability and defensive quality's.

Fergie should go out and sign David Silva, David Villa and maybe Marek Hamsik or someone else with energy in CM but someone that can also tackle. Young James McCarthy at Hamilton Academicals is the 'new Roy Keane'. He'd be an ideal prospect....

Hamsik and Silva can't tackle and Villa definately can't. Let's see how McCarthy does in English football

Of course Silva can't tackle but he would provide the guile, invention and passing ability that United lacked tonight. Hamsik CAN tackle but he would give a dynamic energy and presence to the United midfiled.

If United don't buy a midfileder with energy and that also tackles, they better hope Hargreaves can get back 100% fit because they have missed a player like him tonight.

I was in spain recently and Javi Martinez is really highly thought of out there. I watched the Copa Del Rey final too and he was the only Bilbao player to get anywhere near the Barca midfield and he looked a quality prospect. He was strong and dynamic and looked a good all round midfielder.

I think Utd were taught a lesson tonight and they should also target someone like Kaka, Ribery or Silva. Someone with invention that can help match the brilliance of the Barca midfield. Anderson is going to be a good player in the future but yet he isn't any where near the sort of players i mentioned. Carrick is a class act but not quite world class. Scholes and Giggs are both coming to the end of their careers and there's always uncertainty around the future of Ronaldo. Also Fletcher is a good player and much improved, but agin isn't world class.

United should always look to sign better than they have and Kaka, Silva and Ribery would add something to this United side.

This cup had Chelsea stamped all over it!!! Guardiola is nothing special. He has inherited an amazing team and has bean extemely lucky. I will bet all my meagre savings and "massimo" (my maserati... and pride and joy) that Guardiola will not and can win the champions league next year!!!

    Good match all the same!!!

Not fair to blame Anderson - Ferguson got the tactics/formation wrong and should have pressed from the start. He allowed Barca to play their game and got owned.

well, crap at 1-0 down within the first 10mins is utter bullock, and the lads stil can say: calm down. and by HT approaching, they didnt even want to level the fucking score. and out come the 2nd half, they think it is still 0-0 or they were leading by a goal, no pressure at all. forget about the attack, the defence was totally having a field day. i dont know if this is the battle of the best teams in Europe or not, but the best team turned up for only one of the side, the other was left in their country.

i take my hat of Barca.

we conceded 2 goals to them because we tried to play.it cost us,barca were magnificent and deserved it but at least people were entertained.which is more than can be said about barcas semi final games where chelsea showed how cowardly they are by putting 8 men within 20 yards of their own goal

We tried to out Barca, Barca, we failed miserably but at least we can say we were playing football, not trying to fill out the goal with our players so its physically impossible to score

I think in the cold light of day Fergie will have sat down and realised he made a few errors in team selection and formation last night. Barca had a 35 year old reserve (Sylvinho) at LB and he was probably threatened once during the whole game. Ronaldo was wasted up front and didn't get any real chance to run at Sylvinho and the rest of the makeshift Barca defence, including Toure who has barely played at CB. If you use Ronaldo in a central role then surely you need an attack minded full back to help provide width, someone like Da Silva?

Rooney worked hard as usual but once again his talent and goalscoring ability were wasted in a left sided role. Giggs was deployed in an unfamiliar CM role and was badly exposed by the brilliance of Iniesta and Xavi. Park is a good player but did he really offer more than Tevez would have?..... and also Surely when you spend 30 odd million on your main signing you'd expect him to play in the biggest game of the season? Utd could have done with someone to hold up the ball and relieve some pressure, even though i personally think Berba was a waste of money and never 'world class'.

Alex Ferguson is a fantastic manager, probably the best ever IMHO but nobody is immune from criticism and he definitely needs to look at himself after that performance and team selection.

When ferguson comes out and says if fletcher played we would of won, I thought if dani alved and abidal played what would of barca done.

How has Hiddink managed to "out class" Guardiola when Barca are the ones who won and also went on to win the final?

Surely if Hiddink had won the tacticl battle Chelsea would have been in the final and not Barca?
