My match review what do u guys thinks
though i expect most of u to reply in the redrants column but hell pasting here as well

Tevez was shite (Probably needs match fitness but he took 20 matches to score 4 west ham )

Nani was crap scholes was frustrated with him on couple of occasions ronny was missed big time today

Hargo was briliant absolutely on the mark won most of his one on one battles and moved smooth passed smooth defended well

Evra was amazing when nani started making errors in first half evra moved up passed the ball and got the game back and even defended better

wes brown and carrick were at their usuall self nothing impressive

vidic what the fuck was that turning away bullshit man

Geovani’s strike was briliant deflection or not is debateable

Micah RICHARDs single handedly distroyed our attack every time he was there to clear things off top job by the lad
And yes finally we had the possesion we played like a team but hell we are so out of luck and fuck the flair and one touch shit get me goals i want a poacher and deadly in the box striker

All teams now know we are hopeless at spot kicks and corners fill payers in the box by numbers and we’ll blow it up god i miss Becks

Fergie why why why did ruud had to go u played shitty saha insteatd of him on that dreaded day and see today

Champions league here we come europe is the target now
See i am a bit optimistic after such a pessimistic post

Well I don't think we can be completely counted out just yet but Spurs is a game that must be won. We had a difficult start this year, nobody was really expecting Reading to stop us and that has affected the team's confidence and they haven't been able to recover. Nani has been the biggest casualty of this because his confidence was high before the season but it all came crashing down in the first 3 games

When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

You are being a little unfair here. Tevez has come into the team, and you need to give him time to integrate. Nani was never expected to play such a significant role initially. He was meant to be eased into the setup.

"Indian Punk", you are unfair to both Tevez and Nani. Both were meant to be eased in, and both played rather well today. In fact, United's threat up front significantly diminished once Nani went off.

Don't over-react. The problem United had today and have had since the end of last season has little to do with the individual performances of the players on the pitch, and more to do with the fact that they do not have a central striker to finish off the good work. Deal with the facts. In the last five matches of last season (with both Rooney and Ronaldo playing) United scored one goal. In the first three matches of this season, they have scored one goal. That is a ratio of one goal every four matches over the last 8 games. There is obviously a problem. Don't forget that SAF papered over the cracks last season with the loan of Larsson.

I have said it elsewhere on this website, and repeat it here. United must buy Anelka. We do not know when Saha will be back, and when he is back it is unlikely that he will remain fit for the rest of the season. It is no fault of his, but Saha is injury prone. United cannot afford to put all their eggs in one (Saha) basket. Anelka has a good record on the fitness front. He is an excellent finisher. Buying Anelka is a no-brainer.

No matter how you look at it, something isn't right with United and, as Frankie pointed out, has been for a while now. Anelka is a gamble but I don't know how many better options are out there(don't forget that he tends to sulk when he doesn't start which he wouldn't with rooney, tevez, and saha all available--that's how he ended up in Turkey for a couple of season).

As for the current squad, the cracks maybe showing after all. Truth is both Scholes and Giggsy are getting up there in mileage and they showed it today; both were careless with the ball at times. Nani was off, but Scholes wasn't much more convincing. The old guard needs to be scaled back but the young fellas aren't ready to take over yet.

Then the primary problem still is putting the damn ball in the net. I never thought I'd say it but United BADLY MISS strikers like Ruud and Andy Cole. They were never flashy or scored many from outside the box, but they didn't need a dozen chances to put one in. Both Rooney and Tevez (and Saha to a lesser degree) work hard but don't have the killer instinct to take the decisive shot more often than not.

Spurs is a must win. Otherwise we'd be better off cheering non-league United FC.

Whats the point in bringing Nistelrooy into this. He's long gone, he wanted to go and our play is more fluetn without him. We may need another answer, but a player like Van Nistelrooy would be a detriment to us.

i knew we need to give nani some time as he was never bought to be put in straight away SAF even said we had to purchase him a year earlier bcoz of more interest from other clubs
but tevez was really bad guys admit it he backed out from long balls never went into high challenges and his chances were really out of luck or dedication i don't know

and yes i am fancying anelka
vishnurajanb i agree u man that we are not being patient and as we are creating chances and not converting them -Right ? then that is the reason why we need a sure shot striker who is deadly in the box who coverts the half full lolly pops difficult chances in the places where it is mostly needed ( the real reason why i miss ruud now more than last year )

look at our corners yeasterday 22 or something and we can put one in shit bad and short corners - our trademarks are also not working
its just that symptom when we think too much we worry too much so lets just stay put and wait till totties are crushed

I really hope hargreaves stays fit.i see us winning all the big games with him.the problem right now with manutd is what arsenal suffered from last season.ppl arent taking enough shots.scholes was brilliant at this and should take far more from out of the box.teams now know how we play and we need to mix it up a bit and send a few high crosses in.not the low ones giggs was putting in.saha will really essential when he gets back which i hope is soon.that way we will be more unpredictable in our attacks.
