he has less than a year left on his contract,so pompey were never likely to get much for him, despite his quality

It'd be more sensible to keep his skills for another year and let him go on a free or persuade him to sign a new contract than to let him go for such a paltry fee. Pompey are signing their own death certificate

I can't understand why one of the big four didn't take a chance on him for that price, it's a steal

Someone let Liversea out of his misery... It was Kranjcar.
Yeah agree with monkey man he would've been a good cheap option for Liverpool or Man U

Poor Liversea, he reads only from Sky and only SkySports. The writer must be Pompey fan that he took it down.

    monkey man

Krankjar is a good buy & he's also worked with Redknapp b4... not the ideal replacement for Modric but its another option for spurs...

He's still the same lazy, gutless, terrified, radar-passing Carrick he's always been, Duffman. Scholes, Anderson. Fletcher, Giggs, Tevez and Rooney buzzing all around him papered over a lot of cracks. With Tevez gone and Giggs/Scholes knackered, he's much more exposed. Krankjar can take more hammering, that's all!

Bentley has the same problem that afflicts Ronaldinho and Anderson. The very last thing United need.

krancjar would be way better than carrick.for one he can run with the ball, hes more of a goal threat and he can take set pieces....all of which carrick isnt good at

Andy Mitten's blog says that he sat there watching Anderson eat the endless steak buffet for four hours at the Manchester Fogo de Chao steakhouse on the night before the Burnley game. My mate, Ronan, manages a nightclub on Oldham Street in Manny and he sees Ando and his mates out late at last four and five nights a week. Do you remember Lee Sharpe? I've seen this happen so many times. Ferguson has more patience than most about that stuff, but...

When Anderson joined Utd he let himself go so much that the coaching team had to put him on a diet and Ferguson rufused to play him until he lost wait.

Lee Sharpe was such a waste, He really was the original Ryan Giggs. Guess that shows how important professionalism is.

wowowow well, it explains his incessant samba-ing and also why Fergie has dropped him recently.
