lets just look, any player that came from Russia is making something big at EPL:
Arshavin
Ivanovic
Vidic
Pavlyuchenko
Bikey
even Jo,It seems they fit perfectly to the English game.

Pavlyuchenko? 24 appearances 5 goals!? I wouldn't put him on the list...
But great night for Arsh, fantastic player he is

I'll tell you this if Pavlyuchenko was at Man U or Chelsea, then we would see how may goals he would score.

Vidic from Russia?
maybe someone should bring Tymoshchuk in and see what he does.

ya Vidic is brought from Russia! Same as Ivanovic, they are both Serbs.
Tymoshcuk has already signed an agreement goin to Bayern.

=(
And I thought the Russian league would make it big, what with all the oligarchs and such. But of course there's the problem of unreadable player names on jerseys. Instead of "Necid", it reads something like "Threkets".

Personally I would love to see Zhirkov and Kolodin at Chelsea.

how about Danny? i have a feeling a team like Fulham or Wigan will suit him. provided he can fit in.
-

Sure, any club would. But no team is that dumb to pay that much for an average player.

You mean Danny Carvalho? The one who faded into nothingness?

Wasn't he once touted as a future superstar of the likes of Rivaldo and Ronaldo? And he just STAYED in Moscow...he must be freezing...

Ya I believe so,

how much would Zenit's Danny cost? i dont think he will cost much, maybe something less then what Arshavin or Pavlyuchenko would cost.
-
Posted 7 months ago #
Yeah, he wouldn't cost much

Danny was bought for €30 million.

Didn't Pennant cost 8mil? And wasn't he a fail?
-
Posted 7 months ago #
yep. But what does that have to with it?
-

Just 'cuz someone's bought for a lot of money doesn't mean they're good! Take Berba or Keane as an example then!

It seems they fit perfectly to the English game.arshavin n vidic are different to the others on the list. why? both player bought by his club in january transfer windows n didnt even given time to get fit to the system. ivanovic is not a good central defender although he's prefer that position rather then right back. jo n pavluchenko both still cannot fit the system yet. maybe need one more year.

How about Vagner Love?
mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

vagner love? earlier when city bought jo, i thought vagner love should be a better choice because he is more physical, fast, and good finisher. vagner hve more brazil caps compared to jo. they were teammates in cska. but city bought jo. i think vagner can play in both bpl n bundesliga without having difficulty to fit to the system. his market price is not so expensive. affordable for everton (if jo back to city, loan-end).
