Some news sources are claiming that he got his wages doubled to 80k / week - while I think he'd get a bump in the wages with the new contract I doubt he got a 100% increase. Any ideas as to what he really got in wages / in his new contract?

I have heard rumours of around 65K-70K. That is more or less like it. Now he maybe the 5th highest earner in the club after Wenger, Gallas, Fabregas & Toure.

Ade getting more than RVP, now that's going to be interesting Wonder when Clichy will ask for a raise...Clichy cares about football and not $$ FACT... And RvP is renegotiating his contract which I believe he deserves just due to the fact that on a technical level he is on another planet compared to most players. Though I wouldn't mind him staying fit for a majority of the season for once.
