Definitely not Drogba, we're already nearly 20% into the season, and he's only got one goal, PLUS he's gonna be at the African Nations Cup, so he'll miss 15% of the season.

Not Anelka, because Bolton is too shit.

Not Torres, but I think he'll be up there (15 or so goals).

Personally, I think it will be someone totally unexpected (like Saha), but Adebayor is off to a great start, and the way Arsenal is playing, he might do it (though he'll be at the African Nations Cup as well, but Togo should go out quickly). It's probably Gunner-bias on my part, but I don't want to discount Robin van Persie either, he just needs to remember where he left his scoring boots, cause I think he'll start banging em in soon.

I think adebayor will hold it but it is going to be a close call between him, rooney, drogba and Torres.

Mr Adebayor currently leads the way with 6 goals, to Fabregas and Anelka's 4. However, I don't see the Togolese man surviving as top goalscorer, although much will depend on the fitness of other contenders (Drogba, Lampard and Rooney have all missed several games this season) and on the amount of squad rotation (Torres, for example, has missed huge chunks of matches due to Benítez's fiddling, though I personally wouldn't back the Spaniard - he's never even scored 15 goals in a league season before). Other previous clinical strikers are either struggling to get into teams (Darren Bent) or struggling in La Liga (Thierry Henry). So, what do you think? I'm going to bet on Anelka or Lampard, probably the latter.
