Liversea, go watch how Ronaldo is playing and compare him to Berba's performance this season. Ronaldo is absolutely pathetic. And you have to agree Berbatov has improved.

I would take it all with a pinch of salt, Bob. He knows what his audience wants to hear. Used to say he didn't really want to ever really leave, too, didn't he? Having grown up in Manny, I would say that there are many other places I'd rather live, but anything's better than Hull or Grimsby!

They showed Ronaldo out with his family celebrating in a Madrid restaurant on Univision the other night. It's for a Spanish-speaking audience, of course, but he repeatedly described living in Manchester as "a miserable existence." Asked if he would ever go back to play for an English club, he said he will "never leave Iberia again" and that he'd be interested in buying a club like Tenerife or Real Mallorca after his Real years were done. Sounds like sun worship to me.

See, I thought Berbatov was brought in to score goals. Bob, however, wisely points out that he's actually an attacking midfielder, very good at cute little flicks and backheels. My idea of 'hard work,' however, seems to be very different to Bob's. If Berbatov were typing this, doubtless, he'd be knackered between sentences and having a lie-down and a glass of Lucozade.

Owen is a world class player but he didn't able to stabilize his carrier. He is a player like Del piero who is always threat to opposition.Owen is also a type of player who can score in critical situation. N Rooney he has a long and great future ahead n makes a a good combination with owen

Is Manchester United desperate for Ronaldo's tricks and flicks this season to continue their dominant run in the Premier League? I don't think so and I can assure you that majority of the United fans don't think so too.

Its not the first time United have lost one of their best players. United have had to face such problems in the past as well and were able to cope with the loss of great talents. Be it Denis Law going back to City, Cantona retiring at 30, Becks and Nistelrooy going off to Madrid, United have never stopped working towards their ambition to be the best club to have ever played the game.

Since the Ronaldo transfer saga started at the end of the 2007-08 season, it was getting harder and harder to keep him at Old Trafford. Sir Alex did eventually manage to convince him to stay for the next season. But didn't we all know he would leave and the end of the previous season? It was inevitable. Think about it. If United failed to win any silverware he'd leave saying "I need a new challenge". If United did win trophies (which they did) he'd leave saying "I've won all I possibly can with United. Its time to move on". I'm pretty sure Sir Alex knew that he was going to leave. So one piece of good news is that United had an entire season to prepare for this moment.

It is now upto the strikers to fill in the hole Ronaldo has left behind. Rooney has certainly proved that hes up for the challenge scoring 3 of United's 6 goals in their 2 wins this season. Michael Owen was very impressive in the pre-season friendlies and scored an exquisite goal against Wigan Athletic. Hopefully his good form will continue throughout the season. Ronaldo's exit also ought to be Dimitar Berbatov's invitation to come to the fore. The Bulgarian is an elusive character, proud of his laid-back style in one moment and doubtful of his status the next. Like Rooney, he has a latent panache that should be expressed more often when Ronaldo no longer hogs the stage.

Duff, dont forget we signed Ronaldo at the same age Douglas Costa is at right now. People said Ronaldo's fee was too much..well we're making a £68m profit on him, arent we ? He's still inexperienced, of course it'll be a gamble. Boy, this transfer window is turning out to be quite exciting for us United fans. All thanks to Ronaldo's sale. Ribery, Benzema, Villa, Silva, Costa, Torres, Aguero, Forlan have all been linked with us. Any two of these and I'll be more than delighted.
