Football like any other sports have twists and suprises every year. Barca I recall was struggling to be on the same level with Real last year as well as english teams namely liverpool(2007), man utd(2008) and squeaking past chelsea this year. In one year, a change of coaching have rejuvenated the players and the club and have become the best team in europe this year. man utd looked like champions for years to come until this match. One goal, one mistake, one save change the match let alone a club stature of a winning season for that year. Any of the elite teams in europe can win the champions league each year. For sure Barca can win the cl next year or might get kick out of the knock out stages. Who knows?
