Football News Roundup - October 14

Written by Ahmed Bilal. Tagged: General Football News

A quick look at the news today:

Macca parts ways with his PR advisor, Max Clifford. Good riddance, I say.

Looking for the weekend Premiership preview? It’s hosted over at BlogFC this week - will be back on Soccerlens starting with the midweek Champions League coverage.

Arsene Wenger is looking to give Theo Walcott a start for the first time - finally! The kid deserves it after his two goals for England U-21, and Watford now have even more trouble to deal with.

Arsenal also welcome back Gael Clichy from injury, although he wont be starting this weekend.

Speaking of returning players, Tottenham have Aaron Lennon back, although he’s not likely to be risked, even if the Aston Villa clash is a must-win for Jol’s men.

And finally, I won’t be able to catch the game today, dammit, but I will put up a report later tonight (and yes, all the goals as well).
