Hargreaves was left out due to flu (or so it seems)…I’m not very sure about how useful he’ll be for ManUtd tho…hope he comes however and does us all proud..I still feel ManUtd could have settled for Senna tho..hmm..

@sid: Need proof that Lampard isn’t the brightest footballer? Germany 06. He’s done very well in the last two seasons for Chelsea tho..lets see if he can keep it going for this season too.

Lampard not the brightest footballer?

Not that I put any store by his well-known A* pass in Latin, his acceptance speech when he won (I think) the football writer’s award the other year was almost universally applauded for its quality and judgement.

Who are you comparing him to? Rooney? Rio? Gary Neville? Yourself?

I’ll dig out a link to that speech whe I get a chance. It really was quite impressive.
