exactly what better english strikers are there than rooney.yes,ill admit his temper can be an issue at times but he is by far the best striker we have,by a long way.
You say he drifts in and out of games,look at Henry, he does exactly that (quick note here,Im a huge Gooner and massive Arsenal fan,so don’t start flaming me for that comment, just forked out for the new shirt with henry on the back so not having a go).
Henry is the best striker in the world in my opinion (and prob many others) and thats cos when he gets the opportunities he puts them away, just like Rooney,the problem with england is getting the opportunities for the strikers,I can think of many chances in the world cup where if you replaced Lampard with Rooney it would have been a goal,not a miss or poor shot.
Get a clue then write something you’ve actually thought about

I think Rooney is the most overrated player in the league and not worthy of an England spot. He drifts in and out of games, is even more inconsistent than ronaldo or reyes and has the temper of a goaded bull
