Football Manager 2017 Transfer Budgets

Newly promoted side Middlesbrough have a transfer budget of 4.1 million pounds. Although that is ridiculously low considering the new TV deal that has just benefited the Premier League clubs, if you can navigate your way across the free transfers and bargains, you can still avoid relegation.

Eddie Howe has done well to strengthen his side during the summer window. If you can use Bournemouth‘s 6.4 million pounds transfer budget to find a great defender, a good season is definitely on the cards.

West Ham United have a budget of 7.4 million pounds. Use it to find an impeccable young striker.

Another newly promoted side, Hull City, have significant resources compared to that of Boro. The Tigers have a transfer budget of 8.5 million pounds.

For a mid table side, Stoke have a very balanced squad and if you can find better full backs with their 9.5 million pounds transfer budget, you should be able to secure a top half finish.

Watford have a transfer budget of 11.2 million pounds. They have managed to retain the likes of Deeney and Ighalo, which allows you to work on their defense with the transfer budget.

If you decide to take over from Sean Dyche, Burnley will offer you 12 million pounds in the transfer market to avoid relegation.

David Moyes’s Sunderland are lacking in every department and you will need to spend their transfer budget of 12 million pounds very wisely.

Crystal Palace lost Bolasie to Everton during the summer transfer window. The Eagles have a good squad and you can use their 15.5 million pound budget to find yourself a decent young winger.

West Brom have an impressive transfer budget of 17.8 million pounds. You could use the sale of an unhappy Saido Berahino to boost your coffers, as well.

Premier League champions, Leicester City, have a transfer budget of 18 million pounds. Use it to replace the outstanding N’Golo Kante.

Monk and Guidolin have already been sacked by Swansea this season. If you choose to replace Bradley and drink from the poisoned chalice, you will have a significant transfer budget of 29.5 million pounds to work with.

Manchester City and Manchester United have spent a lot of money during the summer window and still have reasonable transfer budgets of 36.6 million pounds and 41.1 million pounds respectively.

Being in Claude Puel’s shoes could be a lot of fun this year. Southampton have a very talented squad and an equally impressive transfer budget of 42.4 million pounds.

Everton have never been this resourceful in the game before. The Toffees have a transfer kitty of 50.2 million pounds this season, thanks to the sale of John Stones and the TV deal.

Chelsea already have a top class squad, and if you can use their transfer budget of 51.1 million pounds wisely, building a world class starting eleven should not be a problem.

Liverpool have had a really low net spend under Klopp, and therefore their huge transfer budget is no surprise. If you decide to manage them, you will have a budget of 62.4 million pounds to play with.

Tottenham (67 million pounds) and Arsenal (67.1 million pounds) have the highest transfer budgets in the game and with the kind of squads they already have, it could be a lot of fun to build a dynasty with them in Football Manager 2017.
