Thanks guys, and sorry it’s taken a while to check back in.

GT – as an English fan, I’d like to believe that it would only have taken a few tiny things for us to have won every major championship! And the Football Forks are only ever meant to be light-hearted, even if the idea of ‘what if’ is an intriguing one… Portugal definitely had our number in major tournaments in recent years, there’s no shame in admitting that!

Fateh – there’ll be more articles in the pipeline I’m sure, and they’ll cover other topics, nations, clubs too – it’s just that the EPL is what I know best!

haha it’s funny. but one thing I don’t get is that in ALL football fork stories england wins the world cup. I’m sorry, but even if liverpool hadn’t won, england would still have lost in the world cup. simple as that. portugal are better than you, just face it.

Hmmm….

come to think of it, Essien would have gone to United in the 05 summer if Gerrard had signed for Chelsea. And Torres was always being chased by United, and possibly Chelsea, and I think there’s an equal chance of him having ended up at either of those two clubs if Liverpool hadn’t stepped. No way in hell would he have gone to Madrid
