Good article, but poor question. You can’t compare Cesc and Anderson. Just like the Chinese people say, you can’t compare sky and ground.

Cesc is miles better than Anderson on the pitch and off the pitch and you cant debate that in any little circumstances.

And ya, I am neither Gunner nor United fan.

OK, i am a united fan and must admit that Fabregas is the more accomplished, more well rounded player.
But Anderson should be viewed as a very good player in his own right, and one for the future for United. There may not be much difference in age between the two but there is a large gulf in terms of experience, Cesc has been at Arsenal for years, and once Anderson has consistantly retained a place in the United side for a couple years (this could be 2 or 3 yrs away) we will be in a better place to judge.
But remember this, if Cesc stays at Arsenal there is a good chance he wont win many more major trophies ie. Champions and premier league, whereas in his first season Anderson has won both, and now the Carling cup. At the end of their careers you ask a player: Show us your medals? and Anderson looks to be part of something very special at United, whereas Arsenal need major changes to become a footballing force again, in my opinion not the manager but the players need to change – no heart, no steal (feel free to argue).

how can you people be comparing anderson to cesc fabregas anderson is no way near as good as fabregas and thats not because am an arsenal supporter because am not and am a barcalona supporter and when man-u and arsenal played each other you could tell who was the better out of the two and one more thing you people should think before you write stuff on these forums

first things first: i am a united fan and LOVE anderson

second things second: i aint biased

fabregas has developed phenominally over the past 4 years and at the moment is probably the most balanced player in the english league. i am a big fan of cesc and i base my style of play around his when i play a match. to be honest at the moment he IS better than anderson, however doesn’t show as much tenacity or pace as the brazilian. anderson is younger and has more to learn than cesc but has the potential to over shadow him in a couple of years and will probably do so.

BUT the united vs arsenal games last season showed that when playing together fabregas can’t compete with anderson on the same pitch and gets frustrated by the fact anderson doesn’t give him a second touch on the ball and is 10 yards away from fabregas by the time he takes his own 2nd touch.

its a close 1 aint it

verdict: cesc is better (at the moment) but when playing together anderson more than has his number

quite an interesting 1 u got here…………. we all know that anderson hs lot of potential n posesses more ball control than fab4….. but as of nw n chances r even 3 years thereafter fabregas shall be better…. he’s got a perfect technique n great mindset….. he’s got a great eye for goal n ppl in goalscoring positions….. he’s arsenal very own gerrard or lampard…….. in a way he’s quite legendary……..

Maybe those stupid morons who try to say anderson is only 19, maybe you don’t realise Fabregas joined arsenal at the age of 16 years old, and was still considered best midfielder in the premiership, if your trying to compare fabregas and anderson over one match that anderson had more possession of the ball, ok. but we all know who the better midfielder is and always will be, Cesc Fabregas.

Sory how many awards has anderson won?None? no suprise cus hes shit.
