FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round - 2006-2007

Written by Ahmed Bilal. Tagged: FA Cup

A quick roundup of the FA Cup 3rd round draw.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been drawn together, making it the second cup clash between them, with a Carling Cup quarter final on the 19th coming up.

That is the most high-profile 3rd round clash, with Manchester United vs Aston Villa the other big draw.

In other all-Premiership clashes, Portsmouth host Wigan (should be a win for Portsmouth) and Everton host Blackburn (should be a fascinating game).

Chelsea get an easy home tie against Macclesfield, in which Paul Ince may consider playing to help his side out. Tottenham have a potentially tricky fixture away to Cardiff, while Newcastle will be away to Birmingham City.
