FA Clears Arsenal…finally.
The FA have found no evidence to link Arsenal with any wrongdoing with regards to its footballing ties with Belgian club, Beveren.
The FA reasoned that these two clubs do not compete with each other in any competition, therefore no FA rules have been breached even IF Arsenal were to hold a controlling stake in the Belgian club. The FA have passed on their findings to FIFA, who have yet to comment on the matter.
Yet earlier, FIFA had indicated that they will wait for the findings of the English FA. There really is no evidence of any wrongdoing in this matter and the FA have rightly concluded their three-week long investigation. Hopefully, this is the end of the matter once and for all.
