Make sure you listen to this week’s Soccerlens Podcast that discusses horse placenta treatment, Henry’s handball and a lot more.
Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie headed to Serbia earlier this week to get ’special’ treatment for the torn ligaments in his ankle.
We didn’t actually follow RVP all the way over, but our Eastern European correspondent (Croatian if you must ask) insists that this is exactly how Serbian witchdoctors administer placenta treatments to patients. What’s more, RVP insists that he is getting this treatment with Arsene Wenger’s blessing, and the Professor’s never wrong, is he?

ermmm……
anyone with a bit of medical knowledge knows that placenta promotes growth of cells and using placenta to speed up recovery totally makes sense. i am sure robin will resume training in 3 or 4 weeks time.
Not disputing the benefits of rubbing placenta on injured areas at all here.
If I were Arsene I’d pay extra attention to where Robin sticks his foot though…
Awful………. just awful.
Good thing you’re not Arsene, or else I’m sure Arsenal’d be in League One by now!
Just pathetic. Do you know what a “photo” is, for starters? Not even funny.
lol true. Number 4 is nuts.
why is everyone so serious? the strip is quite funny =)
A. That’s gross
B. Please don’t title articles so as to dupe the reader into clicking on them and wasting their time on something you thnk is funny.
This is the problem with soccerlens. Every time I try to give it a chance again I am let down by the total lack of editing in the articles, half baked premises for articles, or dumb comics.
Pull it together, get serious, and polish the content so it doesn’t just seem thrown together by a bunch of out spoken soccer nuts.
Hahahahahahahaha. That’s not just funny. It’s hilarious!
Get a sense of humour, bitches.
lol
chill out dudes! i thought it was funny
