A number of players pick themselves, but am quite surprised by some of the names there.

Pepe and Bosingwa had three good games between them and both should be excluded on the basis of the quarter-final performance itself.

Andres Iniesta moreover had half a decent game which fortunately enough was the final. I think that a number of players – Arda Turan, Memet Aurelio or even Camoranesi to name a few, were far superior.

    My team is as follows:

    Goal: Casillas
    Defence: Zhirkov, Puyol, Marchena, Ramos
    Midfield: Podolski, Senna, Xavi, Shweinsteiger
    Forward: Arshavin, Villa

Lahm? Are you kidding me? That guy had one pretty bad tournament, with the exception of the goal against the Turks. He was beat twice in that game and beat pretty bad in the Final by Torres. I just can’t believe that he would make an all tourny team…

Goal: Gasillas(spain), Van der Sar (Holland)

    Defence :Sergio Ramos(Spain), Puyol(Spain), Pepe(Portugal), Sabri(Turkey), Marchena(Spain),

    Middfielder: Xavi(Spain), Fabregas(Spain), Sneijder(until against Russia), Schweinsteiger(Germany), Pirlo(Italy), Srna(Croatia), Senna(Spain), Arshavin(Russia)

    Forwards: David Villa(Spain), Torres(Against Germany), Pavlychenko(Russia)

The real flop in this Euro was with no doubt:
Luca Toni, Materazzi, Quaresma, Gomez, Nasri, Lahm, Benzema,

Can’t believe Chiellini doesn’t get a mention. Was immense when he came in after the Dutch game. kept Spain out practically single-handed

(unlike others, I believe that Lahm played an awesome tournament, as whatever other people claim to be his faults were rather others, e.g.)

I can’t believe someone mentioned flops of the tournament without mentioning the biggest flop of them all… C.Ronaldo.

Also puzzling to see people put Van Der Sar above Buffon.
