You are going on about how well Greeces’ team is playing, dude, they lost to Hungary, and couldnt beat Armenia.

Need I say more?

Talk all you want about Italy, I agree they dive, sure they rely on penalty kicks to score goals, name a team that doesnt become ballerinas in the 18 yeard box though?

Bottom line, tactic. Skill. Strategy. I agree they may not be the fastest team or the most skilled, but they make up for it in other areas, such as chirping at hot head Frogs until they do something stupid. Name a team or sport where that isnt done? And lets call a spade a spade, they deserved that penalty kick, those are usually given when another teams commits a foul.

Patrida, just put your money on Turkey, their almost Greek anyways arent they?

You know what, i’m really sick and tired of people on here being cold hearted about greece….and to think its basically all portuguese people with derek being the only one i respect! This forum was made for predictions and not for dogging on other countries!! Me being greek, i see everything on here about that and its sad! it really is sad to see and know that they are such sore, low life losers in the world that call themselves soccer fans! More like racists if you ask me! Greece only has 11 million people…….THATS IT! For a country to come out of no where to win a huge event like the Euro was truly amasing! No one, not even myself would i of ever predicted that specticle to happen! But for people to dog dog and doggggggg on them is absolutely out of line and just plain old ridiculous!! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves! My girlfriend is portugese…her parents all the time say it was a good tournament and that portugal just always has problems with greece! To all responding negative against Greece, I NEVER predicted Greece will win, but these comments are rediculous >>>”Greece will go nowhere”,,”Greece fluked”,,”over patriotic”,,”They really killed Euro”,,sounds like childish sorry loser comments to me!!
“Boring”?? What about the way italians play,,talk about boring,,relying on penalty kicks, and corruption to win games, and averaging 0-1 goal a game (usually a penalty) Or Portuguese,,,please,, they are Greek wanna-be’s,,what a bunch of balarinas and cry babies (remember ronaldino crying?,,classic) All other countries in Euro I can give credit to – especially Germany (if u guys look up at my 1st comment I predicted Germany to win).
Italians won’t get out of their group, if they’re lucky they may score a goal, especially with their best player out. Portugal,,,,pleeze,,, They can’t even beat Greece at home,, they expect to get past the big boys ?? c’mon don’t make me laugh.

Germany vs France/holland final. Greece i say makes it to semi’s and then,,,you never know.

I have to agree, they might be able to pull through the group stages as a runner up too spain but the odds are against them… they are posted as 48 to 1 odds for betting purposes, i might bet a 1$ just cause of how high the odds are. Just to point something out I don’t think anyone has ever been posted at 48 to 1 odds as defending champions, can someone find out if this has ever happenned before?
