Euro 2008 Nike Video
Nike just released a new video in their buildup to Euro 2008 – it’s well-directed (very ‘in your face’ and raw) and it features the likes of Wenger, Fabregas, Gallas, Ronaldo, Rooney, Materazzi, Ibrahimovic, and a couple of babes and ends with…well, I’ll let you see that for yourself.
They’re supposed to be showing a special feature-length version of this video during the two Champions League games next week. Figure they’d use a similar video cut edition for a future FIFA game?

i though adidas was supported by UEFA not Nike, and i guess it is in the POV of van persie as he is the only dutch player, hence lining up with huntelaar, and they are playing against portugal(white away kits)

Well, the first obvious thing is that it not from the viewpoint of Van Persie, but of the consumer. The consumer plays football, and it starts with you, the consumer, scoring a game-winning free kick for some league somewhere in the world. You’re basically a nobody, but of course Arsene Wenger knows about you, so he’s at the game. You catch him looking at you, and he quickly looks away. So then you sign for Arsenal. You get shitted on in your first appearance by Ronaldo, but eventually you work hard with all your Nike gear and you end up banging a smoking hot model in a limo, and then eventually are called up to your national team, which just so happens to be Holland in this case. Somewhere in there you’re schooled by Ibra after Matrix shoves you in the face. But the point is you’re living the fucking life. All thanks to Nike. So buy Nike. The message is not that hard people haha.. fuckin ‘Van Persie?’ lmao.
