		<description>FIFA should have its rankings done by an independent third party (OK, I won&#039;t suggest Elo) to avoid any appearance of corruption and vested interests ... beyond its usual system of corruption and vested interests.

It&#039;d be nice to have an input from all interested parties and federation with regard to their rankings but have mathematicians be left alone to concoct the fairest formula.

Otherwise, its ranking begins to resemble the old &quot;friends in high places&quot; format that&#039;s so popular in all banana republics.</description>
