EPL: Sunderland 2-4 Chelsea (1 Feb 2011)

Sunderland took a 4th minute lead by a sweetly placed far post shot Phil Bardsley only to be outdone by their opponents by the 23rd minute – thanks to a poor, poor foul and a counter led by Salomon Kalou. Kieran Richardson did put his team back on level with a classy free-kick reminiscent of Ronaldinho’s free-kick against Werder Bremen.

Whatever Carlo Ancelotti told his players during halftime definitely worked as it should have. Chelsea managed to kill the game 4-2 at full time. The two goals were scored by John Terry in the 60th minute and Nicolas Anelka in the final minute of regulation time.
