Enter the Red and White Army!

Written by Rocky Dixon

Now that Highbury’s commemorative season’s done with, our one-season only redcurrant kit has been phased out. We return to a retro-looking red and white kit for next season. O2’s shirt sponsorship deal’s also expired and we will now be wearing the “Fly Emirates” logo on our shirts.

For next season only, to commemorate the new stadium, the shirts will have a special stadium logo as well on them. They go on sale July 18, and if you pre-order it at Arsenal.com, you’ll get a free DVD of our 7-0 drubbing of Boro at Highbury.

Arsenal.com have released a heavily photoshopped preview of the kit. I loved the redcurrant kit, but am thrilled that we’re back to our traditional red and white.

Arsenal Home Kit 06-07
Interesting Factoid: Sparta Prague of the Czech Republic modelled their kits on Arsenal’s original redcurrant scheme and still wear the same colour today.

  8. I have the kit and bought it as soon as it was out..Got Fabregas 4 on the back.

The first batch made the Emiarets logo started peeling and jsut 4 weeks ago or so on Arsenal.com they said you could send your faulty shits back and if you had player printing and a premier league patch you could get the new Patch and the new Font for season 07-08! And i got a 10 Pound gift voucher! Im getting a Keeper shirt from last season its 10 pound and the green one.

    Im wearing the kit now…

They said it has a Emirates Stadium logo on it? I cant find one?
Or is it the Fly Emirates logo or the gold logo on the inside collar that says “The New home of Arsenal EMIRATES STADIUM”??

Still very nice kit and pity its running out this season:(
