Good job by lampard i hope he can play with Gerrard but im still not convinced maybe he wants an essien for England just kiddin but seriously i want him to play the way he does for Chelsea more often!!!

…another poor outing..i am also a fan of carrick and he had a poor run out…main reason behind this is poor tactics..carrick even in a defensive role had to shield the defenders alone and had no chance to breathe forward..in fact i thought he was only reason why england had decent possession …he didn’t do much than pass the ball around but what more can u expect when he is playing so deep…lampard did well with the goal but lost his way later on..he move to forward at times forcing becks to come into the middle…but this was definitly one of lamps better outings with england..
..why is micheal owen starting when you have defoe and bent who are more match fit and not…smithy laid atleast two chances for owen with the goal mouth open but he cannot finish….

Hey Ahmed why didn’t you watch Ireland there was a 4-0 thumping and morale boosting victory i.e. I’m not as much afraid of losing to Slovakia and the Czechs now. Robbie scored 2 as well and he usually doesn’t score unless it’s against San Marino and Cyprus.

Its scott carson for goal keeper. Its the same story for england especially against quality opposition. Start the game strongly and fade off completely towards the end. As for the match, some noteworthy points;
-Arsene, please take the hint and drop Jens
-Dyer played like a complete retard
-If Owen wasnt fully ready why did he start?
-Ahmed, dont blame Barry. Its sad that he didnt start and he doesnt need to change his position. He is one of the better players there. The substitution may have been uncalled for, therefore its the manager’s fault, not the player’s…..
-At this rate its scary to think what will happen against russia(I’m not such an england fan but after watching their league non stop for many years, I want them to perform well, at least decently……

Germany’s injury list:

captain Michael Ballack, forwards Mario Gomez, Lukas Podolski and Jan Schlaudraff, midfielders Torsten Frings and Tim Borowski and full-backs Marcell Jansen and Clemens Fritz.

And in addition, Miroslav Klose, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira all pulled out after Saturday’s German league matches.

They’re worse hit than us, heh.

Chance for England to get a morale-boosting win? A 4-0 thumping would do nicely, though I strongly doubt that it could happen.
