After many protests, UEFA finally saw the light, and allowed a do-over in the qualifiers. England and Russia were asked to play once more in a tiebreaker in Moscow, to once and for all determine which team was more worthy to move on.
Both teams gave it their all right from the very beginning. Like men possessed, neither side backed down for even an instant, leading to world-class football of legendary proportions. But where it comes to the results, there can be no debate. A Wayne Rooney volley put England in the lead, undoubtedly demoralizing the Russian team, but Roman Pavyuchenko’s injury drove the nail into the coffin. The eventual second goal from Shaun Wright-Phillips only served as confirmation of the inevitable.
The final score of 0-2 was well-deserved, and now England, victorious over Russia, will take their rightful place in Euro 2008!
Can this really be true? Yes, it can!

this is a totally misleading article and just used solely for advertising. what crap.
With all respect to SL, do you really think if England did qualify after all SL would be the first place you would hear of it? Idiot
grr - idiot is flattering - it IS advertising, as indicated by the first line of the article. Thank you for reading though.
this is the kind of article that lowers the respect of a webpage. SL should not allow people to write crap or you guys will lose credibility
