England Home Kit 2007/2009
Watching England play yesterday, I kept thinking that they had a really sweet kit. Then I realised that I hadn’t done the appropriate ‘new England kit post, so here it is.
Ahead of the international friendly against Spain, England unveiled their new 2007/2008 home kit. Designed by Umbro, the kit sports the usual side splashes that are a trademark of Umbro’s design (see the Everton 07/08 kit).
The kit looks quite attractive, especially when it’s worn and I dare say that Umbro are doing a good job of designing kits for the new season (they also have the Sunderland kit).
Don’t bash the kit because the team plays shit - although against Brazil they looked more organised and committed that they had in a long time.

I don’t like that oddball design at all, there’s something horribly artsy fartsy about it, I keep thinking Mardi Gras no idea why, don’t like it. The red’s way better.
Really bad kit especially the navy diamonds on the shoulder.
why umbro again instead of nike or adidas? MIZUNO? LASCOSTE? ASICS? DIADORA? KAPPA? PUMA?!

It’s not that bad. The desing on the side is a bit too much but I find Umbro makes pretty good jerseys.
I quite like it it’s a hell of a lot better than some previous efforts, though I think the red one is nicer.
England wouldn’t look right with Adidas stripes down the sleeves, I always associate that with scummy nations like Argentina and Germany.
Nike are a bollocks kit maker - all their shirts are just plain, simple and boring. Every single kit they have produced for Man Utd has been a pile of shite in comparison with the classic kits made for them by Umbro.
It’s be nice to see a few more stars above the badge too! Maybe one day…
lol i love the shirt why cuzz i have one….well i really dont like the side of the shirt but its a partof alot of english outfits so i know why its there but i really dont like the back….i have rooney gerrard and beckham…lol im lovin it
It is the WORST football t-shirt I’ve ever seen in my life! The front is plain and the sides are TOO much! Two umbro logo’s what’s the whole POINT! Two diamonds on the side, what the heck is going on with ENGLAND.
