Chelsea maintained the top position in the Premier League after earning a comfortable 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. The first half was as good as anything Stamford Bridge faithful have witnessed this season, with Chelsea sealed the fate of the match within first half an hour.

As a result of which, all these four Chelsea players – Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Oscar – find themselves in top 10 of EA Sports Ranking Premier League in week 12 of Premier League action.

Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero wasn’t on target in City’s 2-1 victory over Swansea, but the Argentine still holds the #1 position with 403 points.

Costa, who scored 11 Premier League goals in 10 games, is holding the second spot with 373 points. His team-mates Hazard and Fabregas are just behind him in 3rd and 4th places respectively.

Liverpool are going through a wretched form at the moment having suffered four consecutive defeats. Raheem Sterling, Liverpool’s only candidate in the top 20 list, has dropped down four places in 12th.

Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United’s Angel di Maria are the two stand out players for their respective clubs, both occupying 5th and 11th positions respectively.

Thibaut Courtois hardly had to make any save last week, and he collects another clean sheet to his name. The Belgian goal keeper is leading the goal keeping rankings table, while Manchester United’s David de Gea lying in 6th, following his virtuoso performance against Arsenal.

Southampton have the best defence in the country at the moment, and no wonder why Nathaniel Clyne holding the top spot among the defenders. Chelsea’s John Terry, Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic all feature in the top 20 list.

The above rankings only indicate how well Chelsea are playing at the moment. Not only are they strong favourites to win the title but the way they’re thrashing their opponents out, it seems like they’ll win the title at a canter.
