€60m Chelsea target on the cusp of Madrid move, French media claim final agreement close

Real Madrid’s summer spending spree is set to continue after French media outlet Le 10 Sport has claimed that the Galacticos are close to reach an agreement with Monaco’s Radamel Falcao.

The reports from the French daily has claimed that representatives of Monaco and Madrid are working hard to get the deal done. Moreover the report have also cited L’Equipe saying the Colombian striker’s future “is probably more to Madrid than Monaco.”

Falcao’s attitude and his first trips should be scrutinized by the Real. His departure would be almost tied. But the European champions would make sure on how he is recovering well from this significant injury which enabled him to miss the World Cup. However the 28 year old would return to his best in a matter of a few weeks.

Real Madrid are also keeping a keen eye on AS Monaco’s friendly against Valencia on Saturday to montior the player’s progress after recuperating from the long term injury.

Real’s new signing James Rodriguez is also hoping for Falcao to arrive at Santiego Bernabeu“I’m sure he can play here. But that’s not my decision whether true or not. It is the decision of the president. It may be here because he has the quality and winning attitude.”

“It’s been four years and I know that I play alongside him. We just split up when he went to Atletico Madrid. He has a winning mentality, and that’s what it means Real Madrid. I hope he can come.”

Chelsea were earlier interested in the former Atletico Madrid player but now that they have signed Diego Costa to strengthen their attacking department, the Blues’ interest on the Colombian over the past few weeks has died down.
