Manchester United fans, this might be the best piece of news you hear in quite some time regarding the Arturo Vidal transfer saga. According to reports in Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, the 27 year old Chilean has put his house on sale in Moncalieri, Turin.

Is this an indication that Vidal is poised to join Manchester United? The player has been linked with a move to the Red Devils for quite some time now, but a breakthrough between the two clubs is yet to be reached.

The recent developments of the player selling his house, however  could point to an entirely different story. The Chilean saw the house broken into in January  with robbers stealing over €150,000 of goods, including €60,000 in cash. Maybe the Serie A Champion wants to settle in a different place if not in Manchester.

Earlier today, Juventus director Pavel Nedved insisted that the Turin outfit have no intention of selling Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba. The Czech legend also cleared the air on Antonio Conte’s resignation.

“Anyone who thinks Antonio Conte resigned due to the transfer strategy is wrong. Our plan is clear: we want to keep all our best players, including Vidal and Pogba.

“We don’t want to sell anyone, especially not Vidal. Of course, if a particularly high offer arrived then we’d have to think about it, but we don’t want to sell our champions.

“We want to be competitive in the Champions League and the only sales will be players who are not part of our plans.”
