I agree there is no way Drogba is going to any other major Prem side...remember the Heinze saga?

...and nowadays, as much as I want to say that when you sign a K with a club, you're there for the club and not the manager, that just doesn't seem to the reality. With the money these players are being paid/offered, and the other clubs that sniff around when they hear that a player is unhappy, if there is a buy out clause in their K, it makes it less and less likely that players will stay as loyal to the club as they probably should. I think its going to be a huge loss to the Prem as well. But if Drogba has the money to get out and there are clubs that will take him, then he should just leave. I can see him aiming to be wherever Mourinho ends up. Its just sad to see that players aren't committed to the club or the league as much as they are the manager.

With more options (aka money) for these players, I think we can expect to see more of this happening...as unfortunate as it may be, it is sort of a "lesson" to Abramovich and other players who may be eying Chelsea: basically, you are coached by two people, even if one knows essentially nothing about how to manage. Players cannot possibly be comfortable with that.

Ballack might be the next to leave...he hasn't really even been there much to begin with, and it doesn't look like management misses him much. I really don't see Kaka going anywhere...esps since he is close with Shevechenko and it looks like Sheve's move hasn't worked out that great either. Chelsea really has an uphill battle now. As much as I loathe that team, its a loss to the league, which is never good.

Seriously KyleAusGooner, don't even comment about possible transfer moves at Stamford Bridge, because you're way off on your predictions:

There is absolutely no way that AC Milan is selling Kaka to Chelsea for 20 million + Shevchenko. I nearly died laughing after I read that. By all accounts, Kaka will be named Player of the Year by FIFA, Shevchenko will be awful again, and Shevchenko could be offered with 60 million and AC Milan wouldn't take the deal.

Shaun Wright Phillips is not leaving. That would leave Chelsea with two wingers, and SWP has been in great form for club and country this year. This also made me die laughing.

To everyone suggesting Drogba has a serious chance of going to Old Trafford: Seriously, wise up. Drogba has as much of a chance of going there as pigs growing wings tomorrow and flying. Drogba has repeatedly said that he wants to go to Italy or Spain, preferably Italy, and Chelsea would not sell its star striker to its Mancunian rivals for the Premiership.

- Michael Ballack - Hmm... Really I think he has dropped a (his price for his quality) since coming to Chelsea, coincidence that it happened when he changed clubs, the WC or just age he is not as good as he used to be. Real Madrid maybe, AC Milan, Inter, Juve all MAYYYBEEEE but I think he will go back to Bayern Munich, and he will become a great player again, then he will leave again to a club.

- Andriy Shevchenko - What a waste of money, He will leave by the season's end and I do think he may go home in January, Likely AC Milan will be where he goes and Chelsea will try a Sheva + 20 Mil for Kaka since both Avram and Roman like him and want him at the 'Bridge.... Barcelona MAYBE... no not at all, the only reason for that would be an exchange for Ronaldinho but Varca have enough strikers, so he will go to AC Milan.

- Frank Lampard - Franky Lampard in my mind, I cannot see him at all at another club besides Chelsea in my head, Really a move to Real Madrid would be the likely destination, I think he will stay put for another 2 or so seasons but, all Chelsea fans; He will not be there forever and soon he will go, 4 seasons max then we will see the back of Lampard..

- Shaun Wright Phillips - Going, Going, GONE!!.... But who to? Ian wants both Shaun and younger bro' Bradley at the Arsenal but I cannot really see SWP playing for us, and he will not fit in very well.. And I really think we do not need any more wingers any more since Hleb and Clichy are playing well on there wings... He might come to Arsenal though.... I can see him staying in the PL and I think a big club will defintly want him... Spurs? Since Jol likes them young and English or maybe a return to his old club Man City could be possible.

- Joe Cole I really think will stay at Chelsea, both the club and himself wanna be together for as long as they can be, and Avram wants him to stay and Joe wants to stay put. If he left though I am thinking a move to Spain or Italy, Or a lower team like Newcastle (sorry Geordies) since i cannot seeing a Big 4 club buying him off Chelsea.

Man Utd need a striker, Drogba perfect for it. They should at least try to bid for him. Though hardly think that chelsea will go for it
