The 25-year-old was a hero at Dortmund and helped the club winning back to back Bundesliga titles, where he played a major role.

After two memorable years at the club, Kagawa was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012 and since then the diminutive Japanese has struggled to make any significant impression. Under David Moyes, he was reduced to bit part roles while most of time, he was played out of his natural position.

Kagawa divides opinion among the Manchester United fans. While there are some who believes, he is not worth the hype and blames him for failing to adjust to the system while other section of supporters opine that he hasn’t been used properly by the club.

German newspaper Bild claims that Dortmund have made contacts with Manchester United on a regular basis. Kagawa is not happy with life in England but he doesn’t want to return as a flop and hopes to revive his career under the would-be-new boss at Manchester United. Bild says, Dortmund have only 25% chance of landing Kagawa in the summer.

  1. Kagawa will have a chance under the incoming manager because of his talent.
Juan mata in 10, Kagawa in 8 or on the left this partnership would be a phenomenon.

  2. they have refused to give us Rues now they are asking for Kagawa, don’t give them a chance.

    • open up your eyes MU fans! Dortmund is Reus Hometown and Junior Club. So he has emotional bound with this club. it is more than just money, fame, or trophy you know…

  3. Well is ok, United needs Reus & Hummel, so he is going to be used as part of player plus cash i.e Kagawa + cash = Hummel+Reus.

    • i believe kagawa will stay at MU too. With the come back of Gundogan, Bender, and new signing Matthias Ginter, i believe Dortmund will be okay. this rumor is spreading because the club (bvb) always watch their former players and open up for their return (for instance nuri sahin, but the director has stated that mario gotze is an exception). However, this does not mean that Kagawa would be bought. Note for all MU fans: the only player that seems eager to make a move in the near future is Ilkay gundogan. i bet he will depart next season, as for hummels and reus, they will stay longer. there are players who commit to their clubs you know!

  4. I believe kagawa will stay at united this season no need of buying another player
