DONE DEAL: Manchester United agree Daley Blind transfer with Ajax

blind DONE DEAL: Manchester United agree yet another transfer Manchester United on Saturday have confirmed they have completed a deal to sign Ajax star Daley Blind.

The 24-year-old, who can play as a left-back, left wing-back and a defensive midfielder will becomes the Red Devils’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window. United have already signed Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Angel Di Maria and Blind in the ongoing transfer window.

The deal is subjected to agreeing personal terms and the  medical of the player before his switch to Old Trafford – which is expected to be completed in the coming days.

A statement on United’s website read, ” Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Ajax to sign Daley Blind, subject to a medical and personal terms. A further announcement will be made when the process is complete.”

  1. Blind is an excellent acquisition with certainly better than average football skills but he is not at the level of a Hummels or Benatia at CB nor at the level of a Vidal or Carvalho at DM. IMO United still need to add real quality in both the CB and DM positions or they can expect to fumble along all season.

  2. Blind is goin to be a great player but still u have to sign vidal before the transfer window shut down bcus we are lacking of midfielder

I think blind is a great player bt our may worry is the defensive midfield going backwards to the central defense were we’ve got John Evans and other guys at least we should try to get someone with experience to play that roll a person who is able command the line so if u bring in guys like De jong and Vlaar it might work
