Luis Alberto set to join Malaga on a season long loan

Share

Liverpool forward Luis Alberto is set to complete his season-long loan move to Malaga today, according to reports from Spain.

alberto1 DONE DEAL: Liverpool forward off to Spain, will complete medical today

The 21-year-old who joined Liverpool last season from Sevilla had failed to make a bright impression and managed only nine league appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ team. However, Liverpool board feels that the youngster needs more exposure and regular game time under his belt, which he will struggle to get at Anfield next season.

According to reports from AS, Alberto will join Malaga on a season-long loan, after a deal has been agreed and will complete his medical today. Furthermore, Malaga will have a buying option at the end of the season.

Clearly, it suggest that Alberto’s Liverpool future is almost as good as over, unless he impresses heavily during this loan period.

Liverpool meanwhile are closing in on Belgium striker Divock Origi, who scored the winner for the Red Devils against Russia last Sunday. The 19-year-old could become the third signing of the summer for the Reds, following the captures of Rickie Lambert and Emre Can.

Will it be a good move for Alberto? Does he have any long term future at Anfield? Share your thoughts below…

  1. Rogers has started again signing useless players. Lambert, can nw origi. Roger dat complained last season dat he can’t sign world class player bcos liverpool is nt playing champions league. Nw they r in champions league n still signing players dat r not liverpool standard. Am sure is joking wit is work @ anfield bcos am sure he will be fired nxt season

  2. rogers has started again

  3. Incompetent idiot ayre and his SHAMBOLIC committee’s signings ( Except Sturridge and Coutinho ) Assaidi=LOANED OUT,Allen=Should be LOANED OUT,Borini=LOANED OUT,Aspas=Not good enough to be LOANED OUT,Alberto=LOANED OUT,Ilori=LOANED OUT,Sakho=Jury still OUT,Mignolet=The Flapper, who is a liability at corners and free-kicks !!!
CAN ANYONE SEE A PATTERN EMERGING HERE,AND I’VE NOT GOT TOO THE SHAMBOLIC LOAN DEALS INTO ANFIELD,OR THE PATHETIC FREE TRANSFER ( Cissokho & Moses LOAN DEALS ) ( TOURE FREE TRANSFER,BUT A LIABILITY ) THE INCOMPETENT IDIOT ayre AND HIS SHAMBOLIC committee MUST ALL BE SACKED,IT’S NOT WORKING !!! AND THE SCOUTING NETWORK ALSO SHOULD BE SACKED ASAP…

    • And they have started this transfer window like all the rest, buying CHEAP GARBAGE PLAYERS…A 32 year old journeyman because he was CHEAP and on LOW WAGES / A Turkish / German who will probably be LOANED OUT like most of these incompetent idiots signings, and be sold at a massive loss…John W Henry must be loving these IDIOTS,well the fans our starting too turn then way the club is moving…

    • unjustified view
look at the players that Liverpool went after and failed. Not because of Ayre but because of no champions league football (at the time)
Liverpool suffered last minute hijackings of Salah, Willian, Sigurgson (not champions league but chose Europe)
The scouting network is doing a good job identifying the right players but stature has bad Liverpool suffer.
Dont get me wrong Ayre is useless but cant be blamed all of the time!
Toure made some mistakes but is huge for the team in the dressing room and on training ground. Dont be surprised to see him stay at the club as coach or mentor once his playing days are over. Any of the players will tell you that.
Just dont be so blind sided by your comments on signings

  4. liverpool shld sign lallana at all cost.im a proud liverpool fun

    • I certainly don’t want to see lallana in a liverpool shirt if he costs anything more than £15 million. Even that wud be overpaying for him. He is already 27 and unlike southhampton, he will not be the one dictating the play at Liverpool. Plus he doesn’t have the skill or talent to do it!

  5. liverpool need to sign a world class player

  6. Admittedly, the recent purchases have not always been good, but to predict BR’s demise is a bit premature. Some of his signings, well two (Sturridge & Coutinho) have not been terrible. About Rickie Lambert – remember Gary McAllister …? No manager is great at everything from the get-go, but I believe that BR is a keen student of the game, and will go from strength to strength.

    • Not one of the players I’ve mentioned has made a worthwhile contribution too our first team, and we have a threadbare squad as it is.But these incompetent idiots still keep sending the players they buy OUT ON LOAN,it basically says ” There not good enough for the first team squad ” SHAMBOLIC !!! I DON’T TRUST THE INCOMPETENT IDIOT ayre / committee or even the bloody scouting network ( THESE SIGNINGS PROVE MY POINT ) Assaidi Allen Borini Aspas Alberto Ilori Sakho Mignolet !!! AND NOW THEIR UPTO THERE USUAL TRICKS :- Buying a CHEAP 32 year old because he is a Scouser, and on LOW WAGES / And a Turkish / German who I guess will follow the rest OUT ON LOAN,before being sold at a massive LOSS….
